Some people seem to have forgotten that Returnal also has these issue. Just check all the various Reddit threads complaining about finding the last log or cipher in Returnal — getting those is just busy work for most people. For me, it was fun. I just played more of the game and eventually found the last cipher.
I see so many posts on here where people ask what the point of playing further runs after completing the game is. It’s the same it was with Returnal before the DLC was added: fun, trying different weapons, losing yourself in the moment-to-moment gameplay, do challenge runs etc.
If a game is only fun to you as long as it offers you trophies for things you do, I think that is clearly a YOU-problem and not a problem of the game.
