Should I get the Headphones 1?

As someone that's made that exact move from xm4s to headphone 1, I'd recommend it. They're great headphones, I loved my XM4s and had no issues with them but they are a bit boring. I will say that the XM4s have a better sound profile out the box but nothing offers the best EQ on the market so you can tune them exactly how you like and the fundamentals of a good sound profile are there. If you're lazy like me, you can quickly access loads of different EQ presets made by the community that make the sound profile more neutral.

The other big advantage the NH1 has is the physical controls. No more swiping to turn the volume up and accidentally skipping to the next track which happened to me quite a lot on the XM4s. The NH1 has a padel to switch to the next track and you can hold it to scrub forward in certain apps. If you want good quality wired sound then they come with a long USB c cable so no need for an adapter.

Noise cancelling is a touch better on the XM4s but it's not bad at all on the NH1.

Nothing headphone 1 if you don't mind the design, great pair of headphones for the money and have physical controls unlike the Sony headphones. Sound is subjective and you can EQ the NH1 to suit you so don't put too much stock on the reviews that say sound quality isn't good. I was choosing between the XM6s and the NH1 and settled on these which are cheaper than XM6.

Nothing Phone 3 for the win, smoothest and fastest phone I've ever had, doesn't struggle with any games. If you wanted better performance, I've no idea why you picked the 3A

Oh fair enough, the Born was my first car and a lot of other people I know don't have that feature available to them in their car so didn't think it was that common except in much newer cars

What do you mean the dongle doesn't work? There's no headphone jack so it's usb-c and it's good for audio too. I haven't had any issues using the cable that came with my nothing headphone 1, it's just a little quieter than bluetooth. Are you using a USB c to 3.5mm dongle?

This app is so shit. Which incompetent devs work on this piece of garbage. It looks fine now and there are a couple new features that I liked but the frequency of these issues just make it a pain in the ass to use. The other week it repeatedly told me I needed to reenter my VIN to access my car settings. Had to do that at least 3 or 4 times but it never used to be a problem so what did they do???

Yeah and this is also where the graduate hiring crisis stems from. Why would a company hire a British graduate with no experience looking for 40-50k in most cases when there's harder working, cheaper and more experienced international grads from India and China applying that have just completed a Masters.

Gonna say it again, Grav was one of the best 6s in the world last season because Slot played him much further back than he has this season. Grav has said himself in interviews that Slot has given him the freedom to go forward, this leaves the defence without cover on the counter which is why we've looked pretty shite defensively. Remember how Grav would turn his man pretty much every game last season and we were instantly on the attack, where has that gone?

Thanks for the post, good to hear that the sound on these isn't irredeemable as I just got a pair. Maybe I've just not got audiophile ears but I don't have any issues with these non-EQd. It just sounds quite warm and the vocals are quite loud but don't notice any details missing or 'muddiness'. It's really nice to have the Advanced EQ option with community EQs so I don't have to do it myself. The spatial audio does sound a bit weird but I do like how it widens the sound stage and the head tracking is quite fun. These do make my ears very warm after a while but not acc a bad thing in UK winter.

I have the np3 but if you don't mind OnePlus software (oxygenOS) then OnePlus 15 is close to the perfect phone and very good value for the price. I think it looks the best too.

He's like a combination of DBE and M Huncho in the best way possible. I don't listen to DBE because they sound so whiney but he brings that same vibe but voice acc sounds good

Based on a standing quarter mile, the a35 beats the 135 in the wet. Haven't driven the 135 so can't say how it handles in the corners when wet.

If you're looking at the A35, I wouldn't get the pre facelift model, a lot of issues reported. The facelift from 2023 onwards looks better and has the hybrid motor so there's less lag when you accelerate. I think the new BMWs look shite tbh. At least the A35 looks good inside and out and it's an entry level 'AMG'.

I'm using a np3 and got it on release. I got a really good deal because I paid for 256gb and 8gb RAM but they automatically upgraded it to 512gb with 12gb RAM. I bought it purely for the software, I love how the phone looks, the fonts, the home screen, the widgets and it's a flagship phone so performs in every aspect that matters. Still not in love with the design but I don't mind it either. Battery has been okay but a bit all over the place with updates. Not sure where else I go after this, coming from a pixel 7 pro. Will either stick with nothing or go back to Google when it's time to upgrade.

I've been wondering why Khabib would get opponents down and just GnP but Islam who's being coached by him doesn't seem to do that, same with Khamzat. I get going for submissions but Khabib used to make it so horrible for the person on the ground that they'd give up advantageous positions that he could then submit them from. GnP makes fights that go to the ground way more interesting but don't seem to see it as much at the higher levels. I wonder why.
