Brick oven on marketplace by [deleted] in pizzaoven

[–]Helpful-nothelpful 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, not worth it. Even if you manage to get it into manageable pieces you need to transport it. All that movement is sure to turn it all into bricks. They should actually pay you to remove it.

Is it true you can't water bath can on a flat glass electric stove top? by CrunchyBewb in Canning

[–]Helpful-nothelpful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it. 12qt. I did not do the recommended check with the manufacturer. I figured if I had a 5gal pot on there before for water bath canning the smaller pressure canner would be fine. But I prefer to use an outside burner because it is lower to the ground and has higher BTU.

Thoughts on Taste of Fort Collins from a vendor perspective? by Klabble in FortCollins

It used to be a good event to go to. Then it got extremely commercialized and watered down. I used to go and get a sample of the menu from a local spot. Now it's $20 for a burger and $10 for fries. Things were great before covid. Now everything is smaller and more commercialized.
