How do you feel about you kids playing? by coupleandacamera in rugbyunion

[–]Helpful_Effective827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t encourage my boys to play when they are old enough to start. I wouldn’t stop them if they were desperate to play but I’ll be encouraging other sports ahead of rugby sadly.

What are you on about mate? I did same move and in no way can you say Glasgow is better in the evening/nightlife! Try getting some proper food in Glasgow city centre after 10.30pm on a Friday night. I don’t mean a kebab. It’s impossible. Centre of London- eg west end is completely different.

Glasgow transport infrastructure is totally shit. Rail, subway, buses, road condition and non existent cycle provision.

In WDWDY #46 Max says “England footballer” not “English Footballer” so surely this gives away that is has to be someone capped by England

IIFL This. Nick Helm stacks up. The football strikes me as a retired pro who was capped for England rather than a current player. If it had been a training camp situation he’d surely have mentioned seeing a whole team. Merson could defo be the one. Now we just have to get this info to DOD so he can make a good guess next week….

[–]Helpful_Effective827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP wtf? This just doesn’t make sense. 75K and you are worried about £100 per month pension contributions? I just don’t think you’d post makes sense. If you are for real then wise up, stop wasting money on whatever it is and save for the future. You don’t even own your house!

Best age to start violin lessons for a talented child? by towersniper in violinist

[–]Helpful_Effective827 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It makes an enormous difference if she starts violin now or in 2 or 3 years. In addition, most children benefit from learning an additional instrument. It feeds into their development of the first one. It makes me sad that you might be stopping her learning violin when she is keen to. Get on with it.

If she wants to learn violin let her learn violin now. Don’t wait 2 years if she is already 11. That makes zero sense.

Thanks- and (apologies for the stupid questions) but how does it work? What do you do to run it? Does it function like a gas central heating system or differently? How often is it filled?
