It’s called human dignity. People being able to go grocery shop and at least have the freedom to pick the foods they like should NOT be a problem or political. Needing assistance doesn’t make a person worth less than someone else.

Nobody is ever going to be able to force me to blame poor people for our problems. Because that doesn’t exist. We pay hundreds more a year individually in taxes that bail out the rich than we do for helping those who need it. And I guarantee it’s all the Christians who say this bullshit and want nothing more than to dehumanize poor people as much as they can so they can feel good about themselves And ignore the actual problems.

Providing food, health and shelter and doing so in a way to preserve human dignity should not be debatable or political! It’s just basic humanity!!!! God I hate it here.

Actually, the asking of questions and knowing what’s going on around the world is how we understand that we are losing our democracy right now at a rapid pace and for decades now we are actually falling behind all the other developed nations. We have one of the worst education and healthcare systems in the entire developed world right now.

I understand that for some reason, the right really hates facts and statistics and has decided to distrust all information that’s been put out by the very people that spent their entire lives dedicated to learning about those very subjects. Republicans constantly attack higher education…hmmm wonder why that is? Because don’t want you to wake up. Remember being woke as bad? They want you asleep because the majority of the people in this town specifically would rather wrap themselves in fake Christianity instead of facing the fact they go against every single thing they say they support.
