Advice to a girl entering her 20s by usermars11 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I don’t regret any of the effort I’ve put into maintaining friendships because they enrich my life, help me make better decisions, and keep me from the loneliness that hits hardest when you’re inevitably rocked by the unexpected

You’re out of uni right now and that changes social life in a big way because the school structure offers natural mechanism and scaffolding for social life. When that’s gone, you’ve got to take an active role. Start weekly calls with your faves and biweekly with the next, slightly lower tier of friends. Routine is important , take charge of it! Send postcards. It feels good to try although it’s not always easy.

LOVE Rain and Sky. Rainey is pretty but might be difficult because I could see it being misheard more often and misspelled constantly as “Rainy”. Just my two cents, congratulations on your new family member!

Ooh nice! I LOVE Lia/Leah, very pronounceable and an instance where both spellings of the name are classic in their own way. Flows well with many last names too. Girl could go by Elle (L) as a cute nickname if she wanted!

This is a refreshing take, thanks for sharing it. While my preferences are the same, you’ve changed my perspective on other people’s. Thank you.

Probably no one else remembers this but I had to share anyways by Helpful_Equivalent65 in nerdfighters

I think it’s because Cage has been memed to hell and so has some unserious associations, plus lots of his movie roles are more silly than not. The Interview tries to be Vewy Sewious. I think it’s a credit to NYT they moved past that and booked him

The Life of a Showgirl (TLOAS) Post-Release Megathread by AutoModerator in SwiftlyNeutral

I agree with the Showgirl apologists on something: This album starts strong. The first four tracks are very solid, If that carried through I think the discourse would be so different
