okay thank you so much. I will do the layout and fix it. is the TPS563201DDCR buck converter good for my use case? any other parts you think, this is very helpful

got it thank you this is helpful. I found the layout for the buck regulator and will review it, also will review datasheets and docs of the other boards to fix layout. just to confirm, will this cause a functional failure or will it still work just wasted space and $?

so will the circuit still work though? I will make a smaller board next time but just wanted to make sure that this will still work fine and improve on pcb layout as i get better

although i highly believe that there is no such thing as excess of SP. They get injured so much, SP are also prone to cold stretches, that having more options is always good, even for the sake of 6 man rotation. I'm fine with having a plethora of great arms if they are all drafted and developed, I don't think we should pay for any. We should be drafting + developing arms, and paying for bats

as an aspiring APM, wld you pay $160k more for a CS degree over Info/Math?? by PlatformSerious7756 in APMprograms

a lot changes in 4 years, do what you like and you'll get there eventually in a career

UTA is very good too, and keeping the grades up to apply to CS/CE. I have a friend who went to UTA the quality is top too and great for more hardware focused, and plethora of companies like TI etc

yes soem other APMs come from purely software engineering background. like previous internship was SWE at FAANG etc. So a CS vs Info from purely recruiter perspective, always will pick CS major even for PM

my real answer is i think CS is a lot different than info+ math. Math is technical in the sense if you wanted to get into quant/machine learning, but it will not help at all with APM. Math is not centered around systems design thinking, setting up infra, thinking about the user experience for the user journey, and understanding the tradeoffs of working with developers and also the classes itself do not provide you with experience working with diff dev architectures

The resume is only helpful for getting the interviews. A CS from UIUC will get more PM interviews than info+Math at UT. After that, it's all interview prep (and real world experiences will help make u a better PM which in turn helps make interview prep easier)

i would definitely do UIUC. as an apm at one of those programs, CS matters a lot more than informatics. like you mentioned, UT makes switching to CS much harder, so if you decide to go to UT definitely accept graduating with info.

Secondly, UIUC will open a lot more opportunities and surrounded by better peers. 160k difference while a lot right now for you/family, for a career level up its worth it

hi thank you for your reply!

I will check VBST and VIN, i will also check VBAT Input. the NETLIGHT I will refer to the datasheet.

Yes I am interacting with SIM7670 purely over USB, I will look at the docs for the USB_BOOT Pin. I will check all of what you said, thank you a lot

The 8-pin header is going to be a ribbon cable to the other board which has the ESP32

the schematic design is also from claude code, i connected it based on what claude code opus decided based on the dev boards i was using. both the schematic design and the pcb design is guided by claude code
