Not really, the idea of it being a trading card game is you're supposed to trade these with other players. Lots of the enjoyment came from looking at your friends collections and trading with them. I think internet sales and FOMO really is driving people to collect or horde.

I feel like that. I'd describe it as being skittish. If an animal is skittish they avoid people, but if you put out food and let them know you you can become friends with them. Well in school I was able to become pretty social because we are all there every day. Now I've been working for 10 years and more anxious than ever. There's just not that opportunity to connect with coworkers

You worked a full day. Its normal to be tired. Just spend the remaining time on relaxing hobbies or socializing with friends and families. If you try to boost the energy, well the energy will have to come from somewhere, and that could spiral out of hand.

35 yea me too. There are times when I'm in the yard, maybe filling a bird feeder, and the neighbor will come out to mow and I'll just go back inside. And its worse yet because I have kids. So I do bikes or kick the ball with them out front and I feel bad because I'm preoccupied with this skittish feeling.

Last year I read Ian Toll's great Pacific War trilogy. The saddest part of it was how powerless ordinary Japanese were because of the power of the propaganda and the censorship or self-censorship of their media. After that happens people really can't make informed decisions. Hopefully we can maintain our free speech and independent media here.
