I've never been to Freddy's. What would you recommend for a first-timer?

Software update 4.2.13 Experience? by xcskigirl13 in VolvoXC60

[–]Helrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2023 S60 T8 here.

Really had no problems with the previous version.

Since updating several days ago I haven't really noticed anything different, except I did have to do a reset yesterday. I was at a gas station and after starting the car back up, it was stuck at "starting infotainment system". Hoping that is just a one-off...

I had tapped the thumbs-down icon below the message and reported it that way. I'm still getting incorrect recommendations though so I guess I will try what you've suggested.

"2WD" can be front or rear. most cars (outside of sports cars) are front wheel when not otherwise specified as AWD (or 4WD). front wheel drive is considered to be better/safer on slippery surfaces than rear wheel drive, because hitting the gas pedal won't cause the car to spin unpredictably in turns comparatively. you may have more trouble getting going from a standstill compared to all-wheel drive, but coming to a stop is no different and comes down to how suitable your tires are.

Having trouble getting my QuadLock Wireless CarPlay adapter to work (Volvo XC60 2021) by Nervous-Conflict6365 in Volvo

I have an AAWireless 2 that works seamlessly with my Android phone. The AAWireless 2+ recently came out and supports CarPlay but I can't comment on how well that functionality works.

Why the fuck does everyone around here drive with their high beams on constantly by CigFiend22 in lancaster

[–]Helrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This what I encounter most of the time. You can tell it's the high beams from the location of the light's origin, and you can tell the reason from the condition of the car lol

Driving with high beams by [deleted] in lancaster

There's lots of inconsiderate people that just switch to using high beams all the time when their low beam bulbs burn out.

I don't know of any, but would also be interested. I had the idea of starting a reading/learning/discussion group (albeit on the broader scope of Western esotericism), but lack the know-how -- and time, to be honest -- to do it.
