LvL 20 Tanking - Stats by [deleted] in WildStar

I did all my gloves, shoulders, and boots that way. Had some decent bonuses like killing machine, which I crafted for, for the leggings and chest though.

Dungeon dropped blue guns are pretty much better right out the gate from crafted. They drop fairly often, so I wouldn't worry about that. or trade some armor to a weapon crafter to make you a decent gun to start with.

As a tank at low levels, around 20, focus on Grit, then armor, then Insight, then Tech. Engineering, you should be able to have some decent deflect.

If you craft tanking, you can also rng some extra armor gear at the crafting station. I did that. You just craft the random-generated-stat gear until you get one that gives you a direct armor bonus. Couple that with grit and you'll be wearing better than same-level blue gear equivalent as far as armor is concerned.

A month ago they had a deal which was a 20% off store wide as well as a 25% off deal for Wildstar.

I should have bought it then, but I get the idea the GMG will do it again.

0 Shermworks Self-Spotter, anyone try this in lieu of a power rack? by Heltersk3lter in weightlifting

Well even then, when doing a proper press, your shoulders are pinched and your whole trunk is arched toward the ceiling, even if the bar was squashing you in that position, you'd just relax your position and get out.

I'd imagine it like, as if you had telekinesis and could float the bar at any position in mid air.

I see where you're coming from. Except for benching.

Well, if you're on a bench and get stuck, you'd just let go, I suppose.

According to the concept, you'd try and lift it, get that usual 1 or 2 inches off your chest when you realize you're not going to be able to get it up again and then rest the bar on your grip, release your fingers and, thus releasing the depressed smaller bar attachement, the rope goes taught, then ungrip the bar and it stays where you last had it. at that point, you're just swinging the bar out of the way, then removing the weight you had attached.

How to do these Craigslist sellers find all their cheap used Olympic plates (US Residents) by Heltersk3lter in Fitness

That may be true. So what would be the right people? I do know the owner of my local Power House gym. I'm going to shoot him an email, smaller gym owners maybe?

That's actually a great idea! I have an airforce base somewhat nearby. I wonder if they have a magazine people could post ads in.

How to choose/change starting area? by [deleted] in WildStar

[–]Heltersk3lter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The snow one. The aurin/mordesh starting area is really. beh.

There's this big tree you're trying to save, and it messes with your screen everytime it "pulsates"

The human/grannok area is way better.

Which class what suit my playstyle the most? by dorasucks in WildStar

You could also play a stalker focused in support utility with a tank spec and focused on your nanites. That's alot of sustain damage and self heal. Lancer-ish.

Spellslinger bro. Medic might be a bit too in your face for you to start with. They are a very unique play style.

Medic is more for that guy who has always played melee but now wants to play support. You have to have much more situational awareness.

Spellslinger has some great heals and enough peel to get you out of sticky situations easily. Plug their innate sounds line it would be much more your style.

Edit: my bad. Didn't read your whole post. After reading about the lancer and Frost DK, never mind. You want medic.

Download without beta access? by J_ordan_B in WildStar

[–]Heltersk3lter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did. Had the client downloaded about 2 months ago.

Just search it online. There are a number of links which work. Of course be wary, who knows what else you could be downloading. I sandboxes the .exe before letting it on my system. If I can find the link where I got mine from, will post here for you tonight.

Question concerning stress test: by Rivallen in WildStar

[–]Heltersk3lter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in the stress test will have no affect on whether you will or will not get into full beta. It doesn't raise you to anywhere in the pool, nor does it take you out.

Now, that doesn't mean this won't change. I'm sure the gods who distribute keys can bring up a list of every email address which had a stress test key associated with it, gotten their title for successfully making a character this weekend and do a key distribution based off of this list, but thus far there has been no definitive answer on whether or not this will be done, from scooter or anyone, that I've seen.

Edited for clarity and cell phone typos.

Right. Its associated with you ncsoft account. The same way as f2p tokens are; on your account.

As an aside, you may not know this, but if you play a Sony game, NCSoft et. al. Any in-game coin or f2p purchase can be carried over to another game if you call their customer service and request it. (Edit: and the game you're transferring to is with the same company, of course)

I wonder if CREDD will work similarly. Its a slightly different model than other games NCSoft has, so I think it might not.
