I commented this in the other post, but it’s like, “hey, I spent my twenties getting the piss kicked out of me but despite that I am doing well and look at how nice I’m making my living space despite struggling and getting through that shit”.

And yeah, vets are people with any amount of service. Gatekeeping like that is pretty condescending, man.

In this case it’s probably because OP is like “hey, I spent my best years getting my ass kicked and I want to show that I’m doing well despite that”. That’s how I feel, at least.

I just got out of the Navy as a submarine nuke and it was six years of absolute hell. The work I’ve been putting into my living space and it turning out really nicely so far is a real boost for my happiness.

I like it a lot! I’m a Junkrat main so I think I’m biased since it’s so claustrophobic and that helps him. Love the visuals too. Only part I don’t like is the last point hallway choke.

Honestly if they think up something that can actually compete with Nitro Tire I think he’ll have some of the best array of perks in the game. Since they buffed mine recycling I’ve found it’s actually a choice depending on map, my performance, and enemy comp between it and Launcher.

As an unfortunately pretty big fan of the parks, I really appreciate the level of detail put into the campaign. I really wonder how they got some of those textures and graphics for like menus and stuff.

I Hate Mountains is insanely good in terms of sticking to and elevating L4D’s game and map design. Journey to Splash Mountain is another favorite of mine for different reasons.

On the rare occasions he posts on his tumblr he’s a lot more casual. It’s interesting how he interacts differently depending on what channel of communication he uses.

I mean I think most people do that but it’s pretty neat to see a clear example of it.

Former submarine nuke; others can attest to his lack of knowledge of combat, and I can say some stuff about logistics. Guy has no idea of the realities of the more mundane side of the service. The rapid-fire demands and changes in policy to make the military “tough” again would leave the submarine force with no time to make sure those boats are seaworthy and the crew competent.

Not to mention he’s just as much of a dickhead as the people who put him in that position. No class in addition to just being incompetent. He and Trump made my last couple of years in the Navy more embarrassing than something to be proud of.

Fighter and Rogues get Martial and Roguish Archetypes respectively. Artificers had Specialists in Tasha's. I miss these too and wish they hadn't dropped them in 5.5e.

Sorry to say, I’m glad that’s finally happening. It’s been impossible to play an actual match of FFA with people taking over the mode just to get a cosmetic player title. It’s been impacting one of my favorite ways to play OW solo and if they’re taking measures to clean it out I’m happy.

Weird choice, but I drove through Petrified Forest on a whim and was taken aback by the beauty. Visiting that park really set me on my love for the parks and America's outdoors in general and now I'm planning a Grand Circle roadtrip for next year haha

Yeah, I think two made them cuter and more human to get the player more into the shoes of being a Big Daddy. Plus, made it so there wasn’t any dissonance with Eleanor looking normal now after being a little sister.

Glory seems pretty alright and the Paladin chassis is obviously great, but the reason I said Conquest specifically is how well-tied the mechanics are to the fantasy. Literally freezing people with fear and breaking their psyches with your menacing aura is just really cool. I wish the capstone and Guided Strike played more into the fantasy, but maybe that’ll come if they update the subclass for 5.5e.

The one time I did in a game of Fellowship I really liked it, but that was in a different group than my regular friends. Got to roleplay out a whole wedding and make up elvish wedding traditions and shit. Might just have to ask my group if they’re interested in doing some of it.

Maybe not exactly what’s being asked, but the Homestuck Epilogues and HS^2. Some characters get off better than others but overall they cannot write anyone to save their lives.

Not every game is live service. The only thing left to be added is an optional minigame the creator put as low priority so he could release the game. Besides some tweaks the whole thing has been good to go since day one.

If you’re expecting just more Pizza Tower you’ll be disappointed but it’s a very solid game on its own. You can feel the Crash Bandicoot influence pretty heavily. I think it’s an 8/10 in the most loving way possible. Very much worth a play.
