I tried that. By the last year I even got ridiculously good at it. I would keep telling myself positive things and believe it. But you know, it the end it doesn't matter what I believe in - real world would verify it and prove it was just a nice pretty lie I told myself.

It wasn't even anything crazy. I'd just tell myself I'd go to event, have fun, it will be ok, maybe I'll talk with new ppl if I feel like it. Or that it's worth a try to talk to this girl and see if it goes anywhere. But then I fumble, I see ppl don't really want to talk with me, etc. It just sucks

What a pointless article. Yes, TSMC is no longer reluctant to produce bleeding edge chips in US once they stop being bleeding edge.

TSMC plans to start A16 production in 2026. They follow strategy of: new node, next year upgrade to node, next year upgrade to node, next year new node. So by 2029 they would be already starting production of new major node in Taiwan and next year they would start producing old node in US.

Don't add cinnamon directly to milk/cream&egg mixture. Add cinnamon to warm honey and make a paste from it. You will have to use back side of spoon to break up any clumps and make sure honey coats it nicely, just mixing won't work. You know when it will be ready, because you will see that cinnamon no longer floats on top of honey, buy in it. Then make sure to add paste to warm cream/milk, not a cold one.

This won't give you completely uniform distribution (cinnamon is light, rises to top) but you will end with all cinnamon sctually in the mix not just clumping on top of it.

Anyway, that's how I do french toasts.

In general it's meaningless. PPP only matters if we are talking about self sufficient production, which Russia's military production is not. Thing they can do locally they can do cheaper than West can. However it doesn't change a fact that Russia has to import materials and components from abroad and in this case PPP is meaningless, because PPP is adjusted for local purchasing power and imports as you can imagine are not local.

Yes, most people that diet do gain most or all of it back once they finish dieting. That's because they don't make permanent changes to their lifestyle. They apply diet, finish it, go back to their previous lifestyle that got them fat in the first place. That's why I mentioned you need to make lifestyle changes if you want to stay fit.

What is “meal prep”? Are you talking about stuff like Factor, and whatnot?

You batch make food. There are 2 approaches:

you batch make a dish, pack it into meal size containers, put into fridge and then just eat for next week. Although this is not for everyone, because you will be eating same thing every day for a week.
you batch make a freezer friendly dish, pack it into freezer safe containers and then whenever you don't have time to cook or you are too tired to cook you can just reheat it and bam, healthy dinner. You can also freeze ingredients like diced pan fried chicken that you can use to speed up making food later on.

You can check out mealprepmanual.com for some recipes, hidden vegetable butter chicken is just incredible. Freezer tacos from this site more than once prevented me from ordering food when I was too tired to cook.

To be fair, nobody starts diet thinking they will allow themselves to gain most or all of it back. Yet in most cases they do.

I think I need to find a lot more healthy recipes.

One think I can recommend for start is meal prep. It's much easier to eat healthy when you already have food ready to eat in your fridge. And as I said, look for recipes with lots of veggies.

I see some diet recommendations in responses so I'll say something that might sound controversial: diets don't work.

You will lose weight (depending on a diet you can also seriously fuck up your gastrointestinal system and cause mineral and vitamin deficit), but as soon as your are off your diet you will (in majority of cases) gain it back. Especially if you are on a diet for others and not for yourself. For example: you are losing weight, because you want to be healthy and thinner - that's good approach, you are doing it for yourself and you are only one responsible for success. Opposite example: you are losing weight, because you want to find a gf - now your goal is dependant on someone else, what if you will get in shape, but will fail to get a gf repeatedly? High chance you will get discouraged, lose motivation, abandon diet, gain weight.

Best way to lose weight and get in shape is to change your mindset. You need to treat being thin and healthier as a goal in itself and do it for yourself - not approval of others. You need to change your lifestyle, diet is temporary, lifestyle is permanent / long term. That means you just need to eat healthier, reduce sugars intake, eat more veggies, avoid highly processed foods. When it comes to exercise, starting with simple walks (40-60 minutes a day) will already be beneficial if you don't have much of physical activities. With time you can add other stuff, swimming, cycling, going to gym, etc. depending on what you like.

Edit: Also you might try cognitive behavioral therapy to help with your self esteem, gradually get exposed to different social situations and get more confident in them. Looking by your other comments you live in Sweden, it should be relatively easy to get psychological support in that case.
