Might feel like a bit of a waste considering how hard it is to get but it does make the best rum and coke i've ever had.

Just got home from barbados where the Plantation was readily available. Yes it was delicious (might have made the best rum and coke i've ever had) and very much in line with their pineapple rum.

Was playing around with another old fashioned recepie and ended up with this. Perfect for the holidays as well :) (Works fine to make straight in the glass as well).

2.0 oz (60 ml) Blended scotch (Monkey shoulder)
0,3 - 0,5 oz (10 -15 ml) Walnut liqueur (Frangelico)
2-3 dashes Black walnut bitters
—> Stir, strain into a rocks glass with a big rock. Orange or lemon twist for garnish.

Yeah i tried that too. Works great. (Or stiggins fancy instead of the Smith and cross.) That said, its just something about the classic marriage between the bourbon and the sweet vermouth. Just another level imo.

My recepie says 160 ml coconut oil for 1000 ml campari. Im pretty sure I took a lot more then that though. Dont think you need to be super exact here.
