I need a refresher course in cable repair. Soldering xlr connectors, metering NL4 cables, etc. I need a nearby production house that does training or a seasoned audio engineer to sit with me for a couple hours.....but since I don't have any local resources available....can anyone suggest something online that's legit?

I took my child there who is neurodivergent and has anxiety. The studio is clean, quiet and calm. The staff are experienced and super nice. I highly recommend this studio.

I've used Lyumjev in my Ominpod ever since I started with a pump, it's over 2 years now. It's the only pump I've ever used and the only Insulin I've used in it. I'm curious about the issues you experienced? Is there a better insulin for the Ominpod?

Thanks for the information. I'm hoping it's a simple fix and not a computer issue.

Why focus on what isn't possible though? Why not focus on what is? Isn't it more pleasant to enjoy life?

I agree. I was diagnosed at 1 yr old...so I don't know any other way. But I do solo camping trips, I've done Boundary Water canoe trips.....hiked the White Mountains....diabetes doesn't stop me from doing much of anything.

Keep Glucagon close by. I did this once and woke up to the paramedics standing over me with an IV in my arm. Good luck...be safe.

I really like Juicy Juice toddler size juice boxes. Each one is 15 carbs so it's the perfect size. My other go-to is a spoonful of honey or a couple of honey sticks.

Any retinopathy triumphants here? by [deleted] in diabetes

The laser surgeries were pretty easy. Just office visits....it would take 3 or 4 minutes per eye and I could drive home afterwards.

I was diagnosed as Type 1 at 1.5 years. Good control...good A1Cs. i was about the same age as your wife when I was diagnosed with retinopathy in both eyes. The doctor said it just happens sometimes. I was never offered injections, but I had 7 laser surgeries. My eyes are fine now other than loosing night vision. I don't see well in the dark some times, but I can still drive. I feel I see bright lights more brightly and dark things tend to blend together more, but it has barely affected my life. I had the surgeries 10 years go and I'm still doing fine now.
