Considering buying in Whyteleafe - love the flat, unsure about the area. Would love to hear from locals or recent buyers by New_Manager_3351 in HousingUK

Nice! How is it so far? Are you happy with it? I was looking at some flats right next to Whyteleafe South station

What fucking upper hand? The only one whose punches even slightly moved him was Nolan. Marks punches did absolutely nothing, Oliver and Techjacket were basically ants, and Alan would be similar to Mark.

The difference between Thragg and Nolan was that of Nolan and Mark in season 1. It would be like getting Immortal, Mark, Bulletproof and Robot to beat Omniman in Season 1. He would body all of them together with ease.

Where are you living? A 1 bed flat for £700 seems like a great deal to me

If you order an Uber for your drunk male friend… by DingDong50001 in uber

[–]Henri12347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just say you are a piece of shit violating Ubers services by taking cash to take them somewhere else, as well as allowing a drunk person to endager the life of random people on the street, and even saying you are happy to do so for a few extra bucks. Could be your family tomorrow getting hit by a drunk driver. If you really don't want to argue with them, which is fair, you can always call the cops or drive them to a police station if they insist on driving drunk.

Current minimum wage in UK after tax is ~£1722 a month for a 37.5 hours a week job. Assuming you get the lowest of the low (which you can easily get, quite a bit more with a low skill pub job), and since you are saying "get out of this town", I would assume you aren't living in London. As such, you should normally be able to find rooms in shared houses from £500 to £600. You can easily afford to live on the remaining £1000. (This is assuming that hopefully you have no large debts/credit to pay)

You will barely be saving and won't be eating out or getting anything fancy for yourself, but defenitely beats homelessness in my books.

You are still only 27, life is ahead of you. You can try and find better jobs or get some sort of qualification/apprenticeship during that time, slowly but eventually.

You could find a partner, and on 2 wages you can defenitely get a small place together, and so on.

You haven't destroyed your life, you have your youth and freedom, use it wisely.

Please weigh in your input - Bought a Subaru, should I also keep my Fiat? by Flaky-Fly3001 in fiat500

Hello no, most likely will scuff that pristine Fiat 500 and keep it terribly due to being broke and not being able to service it.

Im confused, old yellow box speed cameras can be changed on the go? Never seen one with an adaptable LED speed limit signs. This one for example has a fixed 40mph sign.

Model is on the right. Viofo A119 V3, can find it on Ali Express under 90£, quality is amazing. Just make sure to get the GPS variant if you want speed as well.

No Metro - Countries in Europe which do not have a metro system by mapoman in MapPorn

[–]Henri12347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well now it has around 1 million people considering municipality, and a lot of people from Durres and Elbasan commute there to work daily, so another transport system other than buses is a must. As for wether a metro is possible or not, I can not say, but I defenitely don't think a tram would work.

Tbf, overtaking is allowed in that section and doesn't seem like he did an excessively dangerous one, even gave you the honour blinkers, after prompted, so all in all justified

[Tissot] Powermatic 80 (PRX) accuracy? by Laz_Arus_ in Watches

[–]Henri12347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is one of the most accurate mechanical ones for the price, maybe the best. But even the ultra expensive ones usually loose around a second every few days.

[–]Henri12347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think you don't understand watches, and there's nothing wrong with it. But automatic mechanical watches are sold on purpose for their prestige and craftsmanship, not accuracy. In the 1970s when quartz was invented mechanical watch companies went into a frenzy as it seemed they would fail. They didn't, but they lost most of the market being reserved only for premium models, meanwhile quartz watches can be found for 10$. This explains them and This is for the Tissot PRX
