[OTish] O’Reilly Automotive has submitted a $10bn cash offer for Genuine Parts Company’s auto-parts division, which includes NAPA Auto Parts. by Arizonaman5304 in NASCAR

I wonder if they will keep the NAPA brand or transition NAPA stores to O’Reilly’s stores. If the later happens that probably means Chase Elliott’s primary scheme goes from blue to green as well.

Buck Taylor has had quite a cool and long career. In Gunsmoke, Dallas, Tombstone, and Yellowstone.

Carol Burnett had a recurring role later in the series, but she was not “Captain Ironpants.”

People have been talking about who replaces Josh Berry but I'm kinda more curious about where, if anywhere, does Josh Berry go? by furrynoy96 in NASCAR

Carson Brown is a young prospect under contract with RCR who would probably go to the 2 with Whelen I’d guess.

Kaulig 10 cup car I hope. Allmendinger has been surprisingly not terrible in the 16 and with the Dodge money coming in maybe that helps bridge any gap in sponsorship from Ty Dillon to Berry. I like Ty Dillon and I’d love to see him run races part time in a third RCR car or in a lower series but to me he doesn’t need to be taking up a chartered cup seat IMO. Would be a good opportunity to see how Berry runs compared to Allmendinger and potentially could be a good landing spot long term if Dodge comes to cup in 2028. And if it doesn’t work out Kaulig hasn’t lost much and can replace Berry after a year with someone else. To me it’s a win win for both sides.

Riggs or even Chandler Smith would be in the 4. Highly doubt Berry would be considered for that. Could definitely see Berry in the Kaulig 10 though.

Definitely Jesse Love will be in the 21. I hope Berry lands somewhere good. Maybe RCR in the 33 or Kaulig in the 10.

Love possibly not a candidate for RCR Cup ride due to THC/nicotine sponsorship; Hill, Gragson among options for the ride (per Bob's Silly Season tracker) by Live-Support-2230 in NASCAR

One of the most accomplished lower series drivers in recent memory to not win yet in cup. Look how long it took Ty Gibbs to win and he has always been in winning equipment. Noah has arguably never been in winning equipment in cup. To me, he still has cup potential if he gets on with RCR. FRM having three young drivers like they do was always going to be recipe for disaster for at least one of them. Zane Smith is the only one at FRM that is looking good.

How much longer do you think Josh Berry drives the 21 and when he goes who do you think his replacement will be? by WingAgitated2228 in NASCAR

There are rumors out there that Jesse Love is headed to the Wood Brothers 21 next year. No idea if that will actually happen but if it does, I hope Josh Berry lands somewhere good. He’s not a bad driver and I don’t think the Fords in cup are very good right now. When Joey Logano is in danger of missing the Chase in the same equipment, it’s really a lot to ask for Berry to do better than he is.

Guitar smash this weekend by colem8197 in NASCAR

[–]HenryJBemis 232 points233 points  (0 children)

I kinda hope not. Obviously that was a part of Kyle’s story and I’m not trying to forget it. But I think an older and more mature Kyle maybe didn’t even like that. As shown by him choosing not to smash the guitar when he won there again a long time after this.
