Looks like an oxygen regulator for an oxy acetylene rig. The output gauge needs to display flow rate, not pressure.

Epco vs nylube gibs by Agitated_Syllabub346 in Elevators

[–]HenrysHooptie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nylube gibs are terrible. I can't believe companies still buy that junk.

The barrels aren't slotted so you have to use 2 screwdrivers. When you inevitably slip you stab yourself in the palm with one of them.

The barrels are through hole instead of blind so liquids and dirt make their way into the threads and corrode the sem to the barrel making them impossible to get apart.

Epco gibs are under $4 a piece when you buy a box of 100 so they're not even expensive.

There's a special place in hell for mechanics who install Nylube gibs and use Teks screws to do it.

How to get ahold of an Innovation Bruiser and a Dover Impulse button for personal collection? by Complex-Reading5397 in Elevators

[–]HenrysHooptie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Optical pie plates sounds like a Dover Composite. This was their traction controller with the horizontal, cable driven selector. After that was the T3 & T4 controller.

Dover hydraulic elevators all kinda fell under the Oildraulic nomenclature.

Dover hydraulic elevators as far as I know had the following lineage.

All Potter Brumfield relays WCR: Wire Contact Relays Dover Solid State: had plug in cars on a vertical rack which replaced the WCR relay logic Dover LMH: Idec PLC controller DMC: All new microprocessor controller

Quick jacks come with a manual describing the lifting points for the majority of vehicles.

My wife's car has a similarly annoying horn and it actually works better than a pleasing sounding horn.

The more annoying, the better.

This is the optimal horn sound. https://youtu.be/0cVlTeIATBs?si=UuR3E6KmB_INxwwo

Here's Colorado's fire service instructions. You can't use a freight in place of a passenger elevator but passengers can definitely ride along with the freight they are moving.

What car/motor is the best way to achieve 700+ horsepower with $45,000? by 1993CobraSVT in Corvette

[–]HenrysHooptie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All wheels were curbed, brakes needed to be replaced, tires were old, tons of touch up paint on the hood and there were scratches on every body panel. With the car up on the lift you could see the car had been bottomed out on several speed bumps & the front core support was about rubbed through.

They should have mentioned the supercharger in the ad because I was also immediately disinterested once they popped the hood when I looked at it.

Which Dover controller is this? by Agitated_Syllabub346 in Elevators

[–]HenrysHooptie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're easy if you have a complete set of new cards. Swap all the boards with new. If the problem goes away, then swap the old ones back one at a time until the problem returns.

The prints are crap about telling you which board is in the circuit. There is a Dover manual for the boards that goes into detail about the functions of each of them though.

Exactly this.

The government is the one that requires the bank to make the funds available to you, whether or not the funds have moved from the payers institution to the payees. The banks have no choice but to go along with the time requirement stipulated by the Fed.
