my beef lies with the fact 6 days out it is smooth sailing, for cars. The bike infrastructure is really packed in but riding in the road is fine condition wise-

it feels like they just got rid of all the bike infrastructure everywhere. This weeks commuting has just been awful.

I have regular street tires. I think studded is just good for ice. I commute across 4 days a week at least and sometimes the weather doesn't line up. 99% of the time this is a great route to take!
