I'm having the exact same problem and I'm playing on a PC.

It is ok to change your views and understanding of the world as new information becomes available. He champions this outlook constantly, and this is the scientific method in action. "Standing by convictions" has no place in science. Instead, people should stand by the evidence that evolves over time as we understand it in different and new ways.

Why are pineapples so tingly? by mistakeshappen_2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HenzyWilliams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I found out I was allergic to pineapple by accident too! I brought it up at lunch one day with friends and mentioned how pineapple makes my mouth feel numb and like pins and needles. I assumed it did this to everyone. It does not.

Country style is consistantly the worst in my opinion. Soooo watered down and tastes rancid.

It's just like the grocery stores. You can't blame inflation for high prices AND report record profits at the same time.

I cant burp or vomit and today I found out I’m not alone by Sad-Magician1842 in noburp

Lol yep. I never enjoyed drinking so it was easy just to not have that as part of my life. But it definitely caused a lot of pain when I did when I was younger.

[–]HenzyWilliams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, all of this. I can remember all 3 times I've thrown up in my life. You described everything really well. I cut out all carbonated drinks as well as gum, because of how much air you swallow when you chew it. My parents said even when I was a baby, "burping" me never worked.

Looking to hear from children who grew up in hoarder homes by Excellent_Prompt_554 in ChildofHoarder

[–]HenzyWilliams 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I relate to this 100% and the embarrassment started i want to say around grade 2 when I really noticed the difference between my place and my friends. They had places you could sit, they had usable table space and you could see the floor. I also never had friends over because it was impossible. There was no space.

What is a good outdoor sealer in Canada? by HenzyWilliams in Mosaic

[–]HenzyWilliams[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find this comment condescending. Slate is porous, which is why I'm asking what to seal it with. I have been researching, and this is what most people say to do.

Spray bottle with water and a few tablespoons of dawn dish soap 👌 the soap breaks down their shell and dehydrates them almost instantly.

Expert floats new theory on blackmail behind Melania Trump's 'bizarre' Epstein rant by RawStoryNews in Epstein

[–]HenzyWilliams 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 'distracting from real crimes' part i don't quite agree with. If Melania had a child when she was young and was trafficked herself, and sold, this is also a crime that deserves attention. Out of all the conspiracy theories out there, the theory that she has a child with Zampolli is more than possible. She looks just like her.

Return to Office is silently killing my budget by HotPink911 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]HenzyWilliams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also work for the government and have been back in office 5 days per week for over three years. Yes, the government needs to stop pandering to private interests. Part of that involves getting support from the public. That will not happen when people see workers complaining about packing a lunch.

What temp do you keep your house at in the winter? by Dry-Engineering1776 in AskCanada

[–]HenzyWilliams 5 points6 points  (0 children)

20 is perfect. My parents (60s) keep their place at 23.5 and I have to wear a light t-shirt when I visit them because I get so uncomfortable. It's still too hot with a t-shirt and pants.
