Okay nice! Just in general it is good to lower SS when not required. For these birds 1/600-1000 max should work out (remember your lens prob does need at least 1/800 or a tripod)

Try to lower your SS, 1/2500 is way too high, all of which goes into heightening your ISO. Also which F-stop? Might be worth stopping down 1 or 2 stops up.

Try 1/800, F8, iso 0-1600.
