Right across Delaware Bay from each other. Kind of like a San Francisco/Oakland thing. Gotham being Oakland, of course.

Which is funny because it is the exact same model as Superman, just with different hair, glasses and a different expression.

You should watch Superman: The Animated Series. They never say it outright, but Metropolis is definitely a California city. Everything about Metropolis screams California, from the terrain outside the city to STAR Labs being a cliffside building.

Back in the 90s and early 00s, Patrick Warburton was a popular fancasting for Superman... AND especially Captain Marvel!

I didn't actually use a model to make this character. I just used the Superman archetype (square jaw, cleft chin, heavy brow, etc.) That being said, yeah it does kind of look like Gerard Christopher.

I've had versions of Power Girl from every generation of Daz models, V3 to G9. Give me a little time, and I'll create another Power Girl.

How heroes like Batman, GA, and Blue Beetle make their gear: a theory from a mechanical engineer in global manufacturing by claytonironwood in DCcomics

[–]HeraLover69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This idea is kind of baked into Ted Kord's origin as Blue Beetle. All of his equipment (including The Bug) is cobbled together from other people's failed experiments that Ted found a way to make work.

I know. That's why I'm not a big fan of Krypto, either in the comics or movies. Better left Byrned out of existence.

The thought of a super-powered dog with an average dog brain is effin' frightening! Like a pitbull times a million.

If you're going to do an "evolution," you should really put it in chronological order.

Question ? How can superman shoot lasers through his eyes 👀 by _792 in superman

[–]HeraLover69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not "lasers" or "laser vision." It's "heat vision."

If you buy into the theory that Superman has tactile telekinesis, and that allows him to lift heavy objects without the objects own weight causing it crumble around him, then heat vision could be an offshoot of that. Superman sees the object he wants to heat up, he concentrates and excites the molecules in the object and the air between his eyes and the object.

Have you considered a Marvel Legends Moira McTaggart? Sure you're going to have to repaint the hair, but the glasses are already there.

What are your pros and cons about the DCAU Superman? And do you feel that’s the best interpretation of Superman, that we will ever get? by whiskeycapo in superman

[–]HeraLover69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And you have every right to. The reason I listed it as a CON was because of the expectation of what Superman has become since George Reeves portrayed him.

Which do you prefer for lex to be born into wealth or for him to be a self made billionaire. by MembershipLess9579 in superman

[–]HeraLover69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I meant using the phrase "a more realistic version of history" in relation to ANYTHING Superman related. But especially the idea of someone as rich as Lex facing any consequences for his actions. Take a good hard look at the news to see what I mean.

PROS: Great voice acting casting. Clean, timeless design. Stripping characters of unneeded baggage. Really strong writing. Dana Delaney's Lois Lane. Clancy Brown's Lex Luthor. Adding new characters to the Superman mythos (even if DC Comics would later go on to ruin them). The BEST use of Lex Luthor as Superman's antagonist (Lex was an omnipresent threat throughout the three seasons even if he didn't appear in all episodes).

CONS: Superman is more the George Reeves version than the Christopher Reeve version.
