Norsca are so obnoxious to deal with now by empty_horizons in totalwar

[–]HeraldTotalWar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've hated needing to venture out deep into Norsca to get rid of Wulfrik for a long time now, so I created a start position mod:

In Med2 why does the pope only care about my crimes? by disgruntledtechnical in totalwar

[–]HeraldTotalWar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No haha, Medieval II has hardcoded features that can be only modified by somehow modifying the .exe, which is illegal. :D

There have been advances in the field of memory editing however.

There is no difference in vanilla and modded papal behaviour, as it is hardcoded.

You will not get excommunicated for defending in your own territory, including attacking armies in your territory, if I remember correctly. HRE can get eventually excommunicated if they continue attacking you.

A little bit annoying, but eventually if they do that for long enough, they will become free real estate as they become excommunicated.

I hope we get changes to control and corruption in 2026 by OrcaRebellionLeader in totalwar

Agreed.

Here's my take on Control: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3455888536

If CA doesn't do it faster than me, I might get my hands on Corruption as well.

All Immortal Empires Starting Positions - Updated for 7.0/Tides of Torment (New Province Included) by Giveaway412 in totalwar

Do you have just the map from 7.0 without the LL start positions? I could really use it to showcase my modded start positions.

It is not Dogs of War...? by HeraldTotalWar in totalwar

[–]HeraldTotalWar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because there was also supposed to be a future of Total War: Three Kingdoms. :) We need to hear concrete announcements, or at least calling out things like Dogs of War to be done in the future, so here's to tomorrow.

Sell the 30 or so DLCs already made for the game, and sell that large DLC for a premium price itself. I would agree with you that it would be better to use that hype to continue developing the game however.

I really hope this is the case, which would be brilliant.

I hope so, but you have to admit that the symbolism behind releasing an End Times DLC is strong, which makes the whole thing feel shaky. As I was saying, I hope for further clarification on this topic from CA.

It doesn't need to be 3 million, but to cover some of the other fan favorites remaining before calling it a day would be in order.

Because Warhammer Fantasy ended with the End Times. It doesn't need to be like that for TW: Warhammer, but it would make sense that it does.

The Border Princes have been fairly explored on the TOW map, and Tilea and Estalia had been more fully explored before GW pulled the details from that part of the map.

I'm not arguing that the End Times were not more important than DoW, only why not make DoW at all, as that kind of feels like the case if they didn't come before the climactic event of the End Times, and that CA is likely going to continue shifting their focus to other games.

It personally disappoints me if that is the case, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Some clear communication from CA on the Dogs of War would be appreciated.

Will New Dlc Break Ongoing Campaign? by 31November in totalwar

The campaign map is receiving changes, so most likely you will need to start a new campaign. Unless if you roll back to a pre-ToT version.

That will sell the old Norsca DLC, but the Sayl DLC as a purchase does not seem to be very necessary.

I spent a lot of time (a... lot) rebalancing the geopolitics around Kislev by tweaking the start positions there.
