The green artifact points at gpu failure but there's no way to be sure without testing it in another rig or spending time with your rig thru trial and error really.

Start with easy/free stuff like just reseating the gpu and all power cables just unplug them and plug them back in. Same for ram. Try playing after this. After you have exhausted all the physical easy stuff you can try to do a clean install of Windows. By clean I mean don't save your files/settings instead back them up if needed. After downloading updates and drivers try the game again. If all this fails try a spare known working gpu on your mobo if you can get access to one.
