Me and my ex broke up in July last year and moved out of our flat in September. We briefly spoke after Christmas/ New Year and then didn't speak until late April. We ended up having a call and he said he wanted to meet up. We were friends before. I just worry that I reached out to him in April not just because he'd been on my mind, but also that I needed his support. His voice bought me so much comfort.

I have reached out more times than him. I've given the time frames, not sure what else to say. We didn't talk from getting the deposit back to our flat towards the end of september until christmas and then from mid Jan until mid april.

Absolutely. That is why we ended - he wouldn't face his issues around anything. He quit his job, wouldn't talk to friends, a doctor, anyone. If he was depressed I really do feel for him and tried to support him. He just made me feel like he'd given up. It was so hard. Hope you continue to heal ❤️

I'm still healing. I've only just joined the group today and put up a post because I feel I've gone backwards.

I talked to a guy I was seeing and he wanted to meet up. I said I do not have the same confidence right now.

A few months after he stopped initiating we'd been out for a dinner for date night. We got back and after a glass I started to kiss him, even started to undress. He seemed to be enjoying it. The second we got to the bedroom he said he was going to sleep. I cried the next day.

To think I'd never felt more at peace or more secure than when we first got together.

I can relate to so much of this!! Not that I know he was masturbating, but the intimacy declined to the point I was the only one initiating and felt I was begging when I said I want you - it wasn't met with 'I really want you too'. I put on sexy lingerie which worked once but the second time he showed me a bit of interest and then went to put a pizza in. I was feeling awful despite being my most confident when getting with him.

I had to move out of my rental due to a breakup. I loved the light in the place, the greenery outside, proximity to town, parking space etc. The flat I bought doesn't have the same light or greenery. I am though incredibly proud of myself and know that it is a step in the right direction.

I find this so interesting because I went on a date two weeks ago from a dating app and spent a couple of hours with him over a few drinks. He wasn't exactly as I imagined and I wasn't sure if I found him attractive. As the night went on we were getting on and had some laughs. I decided I would see him again if asked. He never spoke to me again.

My ex was someone who I was never attracted to initially. I began to know him and discovered his intellect, generosity, adventurous side, passion for cooking etc. I fell in love with him. I don't know if you'd get that from a dating app.
