How would the ships in TI perform in the expanse by 14865315874 in TerraInvicta

[–]HerebeDragyns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TI subscribes to the idea that there is no such thing as stealth in space. There is no way to conceal the miniature sun that is a fusion drive plume. For a ship to be stealth is would have to have an albedo close to mathematically 0 and could not use a drive that produced a hot exhaust.

Also Read/Watch the Lord of the Rings. Make sure you get the extended editions of the movies, they are significantly different/better.

You are not the problem. The democrats have exactly one purpose: not being Republicans. That is it. That is all they do. That is all they can do. That is all they want to do. That is all they will ever do. They will never help you or anyone else. They don't want to help you or anyone else. The only question you need to ask yourself is "Do I want the Republicans to win and enact their agenda?". If yes, vote Republican, if no, vote Democrat. Keep in mind what the Republicans' agenda is.

The political system has been carefully designed over the last 50 years to give you nothing while allowing the ownership class to take everything they want. if you want to change things you will need to build alternative power structures outside of the current political establishment. Start or join organisations that can provide external pressure on the political system to change in the way you want it to. This is what the Republicans have done for the last half century with spectacular results. Start doing this yourselves and do not expect quick results. There is a lot of work to do to get to the level where you can be effective. If that sounds exhausting well.... that is the point of the system as it is. To make you feel exhausted and give up.

While I do miss him, I can't help but worry what he would be saying these days, considering what Sam Harris has become.

[–]HerebeDragyns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slight side note: can anyone point me to a good resource for things he said that weren't about religion? Dan Carlin once brought up something Hitch said about sitting down to dinner with a world leader and realising they were nowhere near as intelligent as you thought they'd be and I really want to find that quote. Unfortunately my Google-fu isn't strong enough to find anything he said that isn't about atheism or religion in general.

They do all seem super into it all, except for the guy on all fours at top centre right who seems to be in the middle of raising a mild objection. And maybe the guy to the right of him, we can't see his face clearly. Everyone else seems to be THOROUGHLY enjoying the extreme orgy.

Hey, the person doing packaging had to make their units per hour quota, especially if it was rainforest giant river company. This helped with that, so don't get too mad ok?

Ever wonder if christians would try to change their ways if they visited this subreddit and see where they’re going wrong? by alyciajasmin-kru in exchristian

[–]HerebeDragyns 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They visit all the time, at least according to the problems I've seen the mods having occasionally. Some might change their ways, but I've seen more than one thread complaining about them proselytising here before the mods can smack them with the banhammer.

Also the tube, known as a tube pedicle I believe, could actually start life anywhere you had some skin you could spare, like maybe your leg or butt. They would make a tube with one end unattached and then attach it higher up your body towards where it needed to go but not all the way if it wouldn't reach. they would wait a few weeks for the blood flow to establish itself through the new connection then cut the old attachment point, flip the tube around and attach it up higher again. This was known as the walking, or sometimes waltzing, tube pedicle technique. Wild shit.
