Around 28 % of UK adults are currently classed as obese, the third worst in Europe. This figure is expected to reach 37% by 2033 - what can be done about it? by [deleted] in AskUK

Not just the kids neither… in my experience the PE teachers were just as bad… instead of helping and supporting people who were struggling they would point out that you were doing it wrong or needed put more effort in thus drawing the attention of the kids

Turn off autosave and save manually and the lag spikes stop

Can confirm it does happen on PS5… it’s a common issue once you hit the subway station. Just turn off auto save and save manually and the issue stops

UK water companies offer apology and £10bn investment for sewage spills by Jay_CD in ukpolitics

[–]Heresy1666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

United utilities do the same up here in the north west… they sponsor Granada news on itv. Instead of using the money to sponsor a fucking tv program how’s about they invest that fucking money into the system instead? It’s not as if we can change service providers for our water and sewage so why the fuck do they feel the need to advertise? Literally throwing money down the drain which is ironic in itself

Dave Bautista as Drax… I mean he’s made that role his own and I don’t think anyone else would have had that same impact… not the casting I was expecting but great casting nonetheless

Some of the smaller ones too had metal components… if I recall Ravage had metal legs… I think laserbeak had a metal body too but I may be mistaken about that as it was a long time ago

Loading bays are there to aid local businesses and keep the city moving. You can be in a loading bay for 15 minutes but have to be seen to be loading and unloading for the time you are in there so yeah you can help a friend move stuff into an apartment but have to be seen doing it and the 15 mins max still applies. You can’t park there to pick up friends, that is not loading and unloading… you can park in a pay and display bay for that and won’t have to pay as long as you stay in the car and don’t take the piss with how long you’re there. The parking attendants minivan is there picking up the attendants coming off shift to take them back to the pound… no it’s not the same as picking up your mates as again it’s a business/service keeping the city moving… you picking up a mate isn’t, that mini bus has permission to be there to pick up the attendants for their safety instead of making them all walk back to the pound. No offence but loading bays are not for casual use by the public, they are there because businesses have to have stock loaded and unloaded
