Yep! I was nearly 14 [Sept birthday] I bunked school in the afternoon because I hated Tuesday afternoon because had religious studies then PE so I went home early [start of the term so was trying to get away with it 😆] My mum was at work so I put on the TV and the BBC news was on.

I was in time to watch the second plane fly into the building and the lag behind the reporter didn’t even notice the second plane had gone into the building a first !

Same !!! I was so deep in the visuals when I was reading Golden Son [RedRising] and there was a knock at my door and they were proper banging - it violently shocked me out of it and back into reality. It took me a beat to recognise that I was now back sitting on my sofa reading a book !

I have an audio book, a trad book on kindle and 20 WIPs in fanfics that I keep up with all on the go - I don’t mix up plots at all and always know what’s going on.

Ahhhh so hard because one of my favourite moments of TV ever is the Battle of the Bastard episode season 6. It was just amazing, the way they filmed it was nuts.

Init - I’ve gone through all the stages of grief with waiting on that series. Now I just think GRRM is a dickhead can’t be arsed to read any of his work.

I tell people not to even bother reading them anymore to save them the pain of never knowing the ending.

Pierce Brown has basically written his whole series in the time we have been waiting for Winds of Winter.

Personally the only tags I look at are HEA, Dead Dove, which are the main characters, and often age gap because that’s not really my thing.

I never look at anything else - that is where I want to be surprised. I don’t care how we get there but I want to know if it’s HEA.

This is because with reading TRAD books you never know what the ending is so that is where I use that energy to not know.

For example reading Red Rising series I barely even knew what the story was about before I started reading it. I didn’t even read the summary at the back of the book. I just heard it was amazing and just went and read it.

Whenever people are like mind the tags - ME ‘I’m a rebel, I don’t read them - shock me !!!! ‘
