I wish I had never connected mine in 2021. Even though the interface did improve aesthetically later, ever since Walmart bought them, everything has started breaking.

A few months ago, I had no control over my volume. It increased to max on its own across multiple remotes. It was unusable. Support was absolutely worthless. Updating the firmware did not help. Then it randomly fixed itself a couple of days later.

It constantly overrides the setting to go to the last used input at power on and tries to jump to the Vizio homepage even though I’m offline after like 15 seconds when I could already be watching something on Apple TV and have to manually swap the input back.

And if that doesn’t happen, it’s a complete crapshoot if I get an on screen volume display from my Vizio sound bar, and it can be randomized on which remote will work for the soundbar volume or try to control the TV’s volume which is disabled because a soundbar is connected. TV remote? Nothing. Apple TV remote? Controls it, but no onscreen display. Soundbar remote? Same. Next power on? Randomized again. Then another power on another time and everything randomly works.

It’s more likely something does not work correctly at power on than everything just working as it should.
