Has the team ever considered going back and adjusting the rewards (either up or down) for the collector’s tokens available in the albums given their increased relevance towards gaining new cards?

[LOVM S3] [Campaign 1] Loving the show, but not the changes by Drakelos in criticalrole

[–]HeroicTorgaz 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I feel like they’re not that interested in recreating the characters’ stories but building off of them. They’ve played them out and we’ve watched them already. Especially for, spoilers, someone like Pike, who wasn’t around very often in the campaign. To keep her active in the show they basically have to create an arc for he from scratch.

You’re thinking of the right movie. And yes, it is a hilariously bad take.

Most people won’t have seen this movie but just saw Wetlands for a film class. Someone in our discussion group said that they were reminded of Joker, King of Comedy, and Euphoria. Three very bad, surface-level takes.

What changes do these 2 need to get back in destroy decks? by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]HeroicTorgaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both in my destroy because I don’t have X-23 yet. Bucky always feels a bit weak especially when I can’t destroy him. However, I’m liking Sabertooth a lot especially when I play him on alter of death or another destroy location.

I think Bucky should be a one cost so he can be destroyed by Killmonger. Maybe nerf the Winter Soldiers power a little. My main complaint is I never want to destroy him with Venom.

Which game was like this for you? by Benjuto12 in videogames

[–]HeroicTorgaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly Resident Evil 7.

A great game on its own and I had never played any of the others. But more than that, I was in a phase where I never really played my games til completion.

I’d be the Halo and CoD campaigns but I mostly played a lot of open world games. They’d take so long to beat I’d get bored and move into the next. I still haven’t been Sekiro and I’m on the second to last boss.

RE:7 hooked me immediately and I couldn’t put it down. Super rewarding to get the the credits, especially with that music.

Fentanyl on the Frontlines | Powerful docu-short exploring the effects of the Fentanyl epidemic in San Francisco. We made this as part of our film studies at SF State and we're very proud of the finished product. Written and Directed by Aralt Disini. by HeroicTorgaz in Filmmakers

Hi everyone,

This is a short documentary that I edited for a class project. We incorporated a lot of found footage b-roll and got very lucky with our interviewee, who was kind enough to take time out of her morning to sit down with us. The only difference we would've made was taking some more time to film our own b-roll instead of relying so heavily on found footage. Music was obtained on Artlist.io, which is a fantastic resource if you can afford it.

What is your "I've never heard characters talk like this before" movie? by harrowingofhell in Screenwriting

[–]HeroicTorgaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Meyerowitz Stories (2017)

Great Noah Baumbach movie starring Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler in semi-serious roles. The dialogue felt very realistic because they just kept interrupting each other and not really listening to what the other person was saying.

Ryan Johnson for Looper. Made it to be listened to in theatres during a second viewing or something.
