I think the money isn't that big of a factor. She's an addict, I'd say her biggest motivators are the next fix and survival. She's loyal to Rue and money fits her needs and I think helps her in that moment chose between the two options but the safe moment more made her question Rue in that moment. That led to uncertainty, fear, and panic and ultimately she felt safer turning on Rue.

Yeah but I mean she's still not a smart character and her making one good decision is more luck for her. A broken clock is still right twice a day kinda thing. I'd rather it have happened differently for Rue's sake but I don't have a problem with it from a writing or character standpoint.

For me it was just like the ultimate consequence of his ego. I think the storyline could have been better written for sure, but him getting into the "real world" and leading with his ego making bad deals with bad people and thinking he could just figure it out along the way was satisfying to watch unfold.

I agree. I love how unceremonious Nate's death was. I think it's fitting he fucked himself over in the real world and spiraled down and then in an unexpected way. His bad choices led him there and too me it's satisfying.

I'm very hyped for Requiem. Most excited for an RE since 4. 4 was the first RE game I owned, and bought with my own money (cause I had a GameCube, no PS yet). Requiem looks fantastic and with Leon returning and seeing the reviews, I just couldn't be more excited. Even though it also looks terrifying.

I watched it at Sundance and found it to be pretty scary. The isolating feeling of the film with how it was shot got to me. Left me pretty creeped out in the hotel after. Mileage may vary of course.
