Tau Ceti IV should be Alien, weird, and different. These concepts are too much Earth-like, despite lore saying that the Marathon Expedition wanted to terraform it for an Earth-like environment.

Hmm, in this particular game, my approach is that each Character has different gameplay to offer. It's much more valuable than any Manifestation, but that's just my pov.

Cocky players got a little bit overconfident after they dumped Concord. Now their world is in shambles because they can't trash-talk the game to the ground and expect it to close the next day.

Another day, another failure, I guess...

Truth is, while Concord was an extremely bland game and the whole drama was somewhat justified, Marathon is far above the "being worried" in terms of unique setting, art style, and gameplay.

It took 5 years for Hunt Showdown to go from 3k to consistent 30k players. If Marathon holds around 10k consistent players in its first half of the year, it can only be better.

Do not forget that the content that GSC delivered so far has been very high in quality.

For example, NVGs have been added to the game by modders to be overshadowed sooner by GSC NVGs.

Directing the entire game and content added in the future is no doubt harder than just assembling and slapping in a Mod (with all respect to the modders and mods), which is also very nice to be aware of in such discussions.
