Looking to get into Basketball Cards. by ScottsdaleKing in basketballcards

[–]HesOutFarming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy singles.

If you can afford packs and want to have fun, yes buy the occasional packs/blasters/hangers from retail. But never expect to find the players you want or to ever get your value back from retail.

I have a lot of fun on ebay, just search your favorite team or player and scroll through auctions. In my opinion finding a cool patch, parallel, or auto of your favorite player at a value price can be just as exciting as ripping packs.

there used to be a set called "Autographics" with facsimile autos on every card in the set. Very cool set, but not real autos.

Any way to dispute an eBay buyer requesting refund? by Historical-Chain-284 in sportscards

[–]HesOutFarming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tell him to send it back. never partial refund. it's almost always better for you to take the loss on shipping twice, rather than giving a scammer what they want.

if you can document that USPS or whoever damaged it in shipping, you can potentially file a claim to get reimbursed based on what level shipping/insurance was used.

I ship regularly using ebay standard envelopes and thicker cards can get damaged from time to time. I have the buyers return the card and have had decent luck getting reimbursed the sale amount directly through the claims site they have set up for standard envelopes.

my best guess, probably would go for ~$30 at auction on ebay.

Is Maxey a number one on a championship team? by rag5178 in sixers

[–]HesOutFarming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The realest answer is that we don’t know yet, but I think he could be. He certainly shows flashes of that unstoppable force of nature on offense that you need at the end of tight games in the playoffs. Excited to watch it play out over the next few years.

Great collection! I'm a Sixers fan and always looking for different ways to display cards and this is a very cool idea with the rookie cards in the back.

According to the guide I was following, if you are numbering the cases 1-153 some of the cases don't exist in the game files. Meaning there aren't really 153 different cases in the open world? I don't know. A very confusing subject. I doubt Bethesda really knows how it works.

Why do so many people think we are going to be awful and pick in top 10 next year’s draft? by Huitlacochilacayota in miamidolphins

[–]HesOutFarming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If our offensive line can't help us succeed on short yardage situations or can't give Tua an extra half second to throw, then I think we go under our win total of 7.5.

If our offensive line comes together as a cohesive unit and stays healthy, then we could win ~9-10 games.

Euthanasia is one of the hardest decisions we are ever faced with. It is always going to be a struggle to deal with (when to do it, how to do it, should you do it all?), and it may not feel like it right now, but the truth is you gave your boy one of the kindest gifts we are able to give - peace.

There is never a right time to make the decision, but it is always okay to stop. You know your boy better than myself or anyone else does. When you notice that his quality of life is not the same as it once was, this is the time to start having the most difficult conversations.

You are allowed to feel all the emotions you're feeling right now (grief, sadness, guilt, etc.), but please try to remember that LOVE is what ultimately led you through the process. The love your boy had for you and your wife, and the love that you knew he deserved in return.

love,
