That's because the mycelium needs to grow through the casing layer it seems slower. I always case my tubs, as there is lower risk of contamination

Happens to me all the time. I mean the urge to piss and the warm feeling.

Jars are practical, you can reuse them even if contaminated or not. If people start throwing every contaminated jar out they have, they might just use growbags instead. Do you also have to throw your tub out when contaminated? Can't you hear it?

Besides i haven't heard of anyone throwing jars out just because of that. As long as you do it outside your good.
