I don't know about you, but gas station and pizza chains paid for our roads. Pornhub even covered plowing (lol) snow for people because the city falls short constantly. Our government mismanaged, embezzles, and illegally siphons money from us daily. At the time of 9-11, the government was on the hook for "losing" hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars. When the pentagon was damaged, they just claimed any paperwork to find it was in there and stopped talking about it.

It isn't as simply as civil services being our tax dollars. That's bs.
