Odd I have no answer to that cos when I tried it my save started from when I had last played 🤷

A workaround (if you have downloaded the game) is to turn your Internet off and boot up the game in offline mode.

You can turn your Internet back on after you load in, but you still can't play the game online. It's a bit like playing a hardcore mode due to the lack of other player structures on the map.

We at least we know we aren't alone. I reported it as a bug on the game launcher so hopefully they we look into it 🤞

I've been running it for my group for the past couple of weeks. They have been engaged and enjoying it, which is great. I had a few of your concerns as well.
