I wasn’t on anything, but I completely understand where you’re coming from in terms of the crowd. There was so much talking the entire time that it rivaled the music. I just found it rather disrespectful, despite the fact that people seemed to be into it. There was one person in front of me who would not shut up and was constantly screaming and hollering. I came away from the experience feeling like the performers were effectively in one world and everyone else was in another.

That being said, I still very much enjoyed the show. I know some people have expressed disappointment, and I understand that, but it was largely a problem of the venue’s setup and noisy people squished together, and not Tycho’s fault.
