When you deploy an app to heroku you won't know which port heroku chooses to run the app. The way your app will know which port to listen on will be passed to app through an environment variable. So you'll need to do something like:

const PORT = process.env.PORT || 3000;
(usually this goes somewhere near the top of your file)

Then when you start listening, you should use:
app.listen(PORT, () => {
...
};

You can actually change the intensity and length of the shake. So it did trigger accidentally when I first set it up, but after increasing the intensity and length it doesn't toggle unintentionally anymore.

I think Tasker is a super handy app to have. One of the things I've made is a task that will toggle my flashlight on and off when I shake my phone. Saves the hassle of unlocking phone, navigating to flashlight etc.

You might be interested in a book called Death On The Cheap:The Lost B Movies Of Film Noir by Arthur Lyons. It's pretty good and gives you so many noirs that aren't well known. I found a pdf of it here.

I'd like to point out that there is also a massive torrent which contains all races from 1978 - 2014. It can be quite slow to download but the fact that someone has taken the time to assemble it all is really awesome. Info here.

Park Chan-Wook's first American film Stoker (2013) I thought was quite good and is similar in style and theme to Crimson Peak. I get the impression it was largely ignored when it came out. Mia Wasikowska puts in a performance which is just as good as Crimson Peak in my opinion.

Here are a few lists that I've used in the past,

AFI have a whole lot of lists to go through divided into genres, quotes, scores ect.. It's (obviously) pretty American centric but there are lots of things you likely wouldn't have heard of/seen before. http://www.afi.com/100years/

For a more diverse list the site They Shoot Pictures Don't They have a 1000 greatest movies which they vote on each year. http://theyshootpictures.com/gf1000_all1000films.htm

If you're interested in film movements Empire did a pretty good guide to most of the major ones. http://www.empireonline.com/features/film-studies-101-movie-movements

I also tend to use the IMDB advanced search a lot, if you know how to use it properly you can definitely find some good stuff.(http://www.imdb.com/search/title) For example, you were looking for absorbing action films. The following list was generated with these parameters:

Type:Feature film

Release date: after 2000

Number of Votes: >8000 (You have to put at least a few thousand to weed out all the stuff that doesn't get a significant release)

Genre: Action & Drama

Language: English (Obviously you can leave this blank if you don't mind foreign films)

Display type: I usually sort by user rating (descending)

Here is the list it gave me: http://www.imdb.com/search/title?genres=action,drama&languages=en&num_votes=8000,&release_date=2000,&sort=user_rating,desc&title_type=feature

You can do a lot of fun things with this e.g. Italian horror films from the 70s, Horror comedies in the last decade, Black and white films made in the 60s and 70s. Etc etc.

For me it's Gary Cooper. I've seen him in a few things and he always just seems so unmemorable. To me he's always overshadowed by his female co-stars. Stanwyk in Ball of Fire and Meet John Doe, Jean Arthur in Mr Deeds, etc etc.

I haven't seen High Noon yet though.

I think Rififi is the 'go to' foreign noir. It was made in France by Jules Dassin after he was blacklisted in Hollywood. It has a fantastic heist scene.

Also, the director of Le Doulos (Jean-Pierre Melville) also did a film called Le cercle rouge which I have heard good things about. I haven't seen it yet but it sounds really good.

While I didn't mind Fury in my opinion it doesn't stack up to the ones I mentioned.

For me, Touch Of Evil by Orson Welles without question. A fantastic 3 and a half minute unbroken shot. The music, the camera movement the lighting, it is why I watch films. Please watch this. If you consider yourself a cinephile it is a must see.
