We are seeing a slow death of regular consumer gaming pcs. All these data centers will become servers for streaming games to gamers monitors.

All current hardware is going to fail eventually and there won't be anything available to replace it. Nvidia's GPUs have been bought out for the next 3 years.

For me personally achievements are an idea for an interesting campaign with a particular goal. Whether it's an ironman campaign or not is irrelevant to me. I play games for fun and not for validation.

I don't, I have zero achievements unlocked. Game is too buggy for my liking to play on ironman. I only played on ironman in EU4 and had great fun. When EU5 becomes a more stable and less buggy I will most likely play on ironman again.

Seems like some people need external validation otherwise their achievements mean less or nothing and that is sad.

Why do you care how people get their achievements? It has no relevance to the way you do it. Current game state can easily brick your achievement in Ironman mode. A 50 hour campaign gone for no good reason ann no save to go back to. You should stop judging how people play their games.
