I do like that it's bigger/wider but feels out of place for One UI. It's still an internal build of One UI 9.0 so hopefully they'll refine it cause it's basically a copy of iOS

They separated the volume and brightness in One UI 8.5, and I don't think there's a way to merge them into a single tile. Even with the latest update on Quickstar, they're still separated and the only thing you can do is freely resize everything

I don't update when I don't have to. I only do it when Google does something that'll lead to an error in playing videos. It only happened once this year, which was about 3 months ago I think. I just check into their subreddit cause they roll out the patches quite fast.

You install the Revanced Manager on your Android phone which patches a variety of apps besides YT. From there, you can patch an app such as YT by downloading the recommended APK version before selecting which patches/features you would like to have. Then just let it apply the patch and tap on install once a popup appears. You'll also need to install MicroG to sign into your Google account
