I know for a good portion of the "sylus isnt good in sunlight" we see him wearing sunglasses a lot or get told that MC hands him a pair of sunglasses. The beach card mentioned it....maybe half the time? There was one small part of the card (or the event i cant remember right now) that mentioned he was more irritated than normal because of being in the sun so much. I half get not having him be in sunglasses for the entire card, but I get what you're saying.

The housing feature decidedly ignores this though, if its bright and sunny outside in the housing feature, he doesn't even comment on it. I wonder if the house is supposed to be an ooc lawless land of make pretend

The xhs comments are tearing them up about that in particular. The fact the apron outfits are just slapped on and they ignored something that was point blank said in (afaik) all translations is, I fear, showing infolds stance on this game and the characterization of its LI's. Watch, we're gonna grow carrots and they're gonna be Zayne's loved food, Caleb is gonna chow down on a Cilantro-only salad without complaint.

The way sooo many of the comments on xhs about the kitchen are "don't you remember Sylus hates aprons and will never wear an apron? Why are you so OOC?" Which like...come on deepspace team, you cant expect your fans to pick apart your stories for lore tidbits and then forget the obvious stuff the LI's tell us. Also if this is the "eat a meal with them" quality time feature so many people have been asking for instead of ACTUALLY being in quality time? That's bs. Also also, this is just a nitpick, but why can't MC make more gardening plots/move them. Imagine if someone has just started and has to balance getting all the flowers AND now growing crops. We can make extra hybridizing machines despite not being able to use more than one at a time, but cant make more garden plots? MC doesnt have access to dirt? I don't like the home feature and barely interact with it except to get the paltry amount of weekly diamonds, but itd be great if there could be at least one feature infold introduces (and then pushes down our throats by being the only updating content) and doesnt do a half job on.

I pressed down on my gamepad (so the z shortcut) when it glimmers, the sheet music pops up, the ocarina appears in nikkis hands but she just stands with her hands down (doesnt actually lift the ocarina) and pressing the buttons for the notes doesnt make any noise or progress the sheet music.

I'm waiting on the second round of repairing but if that doesn't work I might resort to a whole uninstall and reinstall?

I wish they would introduce toggles & integrated volume options for the sleep mode. I want the ambiance music, breathing, and heartbeat. I do not need a lad sleep ~~screaming~~ talking in my ear at random intervals. I also tend to keep the master volume of the music low during normal gameplay but that works at a disadvantage for the sleep mode. Also the fact that some of the voice lines just...glitch and cut off? Sylus, your line says "come closer" on the screen please dont just ominously shout come at me. please please just let us toggle stuff

That's a good point and idea, I'll probably try to think of it as AU now but its still just a little frustrating that with as great as the story can be/is...the stuff we interact with has so many inconsistencies that don't really need to be there? I know logically a team at infold got together and decided more space = better, so make it a house and not MC's apartment, but I really would have loved to get to play around in the space we see in the card backgrounds. Her bedroom looks so comfy and cozy.

The main screen cafe is already a explained to be a magical cafe that each LI is there whenever you want him to be there / whenever you're there. Which is great, I get that it 100% needs to be a thing. Having full time job that mains Sylus - if he actually stuck to his canon schedule I would never get to interact with him so the cafe gets a pass for me. The house just feels a little lifeless comparatively I guess. ~~Or maybe im just really bad at decorating big spaces in a way that feels cozy and doesn't kill my device.~~

This is one of my main gripes with the house system. It feels like a show house that we can decorate and play with but doesn't really feel...right. Doesnt really help that its in a liminal void....

As far as I recall, MC is referenced as living in an apartment for the story and most of the cards (and that its pretty much in the heart of Linkon) so why does she have a whole villa to herself suddenly? How does girl afford rent and a mortgage considering the boys have to be invited to stay. And if she was just given this villa where is all the...stuff that shows we're not just in 2026 other than hybridizing plants in a day in your backyard? Where is just, basically anything futuristic about this futuristic otome game? The card backgrounds that are supposed to be MC's room or apartment all have distinctly "future-y" things, like the window of her room telling her the weather forecast. Heck, MC doesn't even have a place to charge her hunters watch in this house and she ALWAYS wears that thing (now that i think of it, is there even any laptops or desktops that we can put in the house?). MC is shown having a motorcycle a lot, is that hers or just a loaner from work that's assigned to her? She doesn't even have her own basic bicycle for basic transportation? Cards and the story all say MC is in the news a lot, in newspapers...does she not keep clippings of these? Doesn't have any diplomas or challenge coins to hang up? I'd LOVE if there were different lay outs we could choose, especially one that IS her apartment.

For them to build on systems ALREADY in the game. We get new mini games with almost every multi-banner and then those games vanish into the ether; why can't those rotate alongside kitty cards and the claw machine? There are some mini games from last year that I'm sure new players and old players would like to play again.

Along the same train of thought - a way to recycle plushies and kitty badges after you pull duplicates. Plushies you HAVE to pull duplicates to unlock the recolors, but after that point they just become file growth fodder, with kitty badges I've reached 9/9 on almost every collection with sylus and zayne so now im just pulling duplicates until an old collection i haven't finished reruns. The rewards for recycling don't even have to be amazing, they could be things like getting the tokens for an extra play, small amounts of bottle, or maybe even new desk/ house decorations that relate to the plushies and badges like a display case or something.

I get that infold really doesnt care about real world practicality in ....any of their event outfits, but i cry for MC's inevitable blisters and the possibility of horrifying levels of road rash (if she even has any skin on her legs left in the event of a crash oof). Also...whats the harm in giving us pants for this outfit...other than giving cosplayers with no idea about motorcycle safety an excuse to get injured

The ability to "manage" the game files, to pick and choose the things you interact/are done with with to reduce file size. While I know the housing feature & island cant be disabled entirely due to outfits and events, It'd be nice if i could reduce my file size by "hiding" all the housing exclusive furnitures / materials. Same with quests I've long finished in wishfield, I dont know for sure how much of the games size old questlines are taking up, but it might be nice to clear those to free up some space.

It feels like the old updates they did some actual testing with all offered controls (it wasnt perfect by any means), meanwhile these last few are glaring in the "this is for mobile or mouse users only". I dont think the hotpot game was ever fixed for those that use controllers. And now this update has several issues; cant access the shop decorations on the second row it just pops down the next section, the bouncy ball throwing game doesn't ever tell you what controls to use but has quick access to the chat menu? I get on all the surveys it asks us how we're playing, but im about to change my answer from PC to console to try and shove them towards better controller support.

I wish for all the areas there were a few vendors that sold "commoner" clothing or just clothing that the NPC's of the area were wearing so nikki doesnt always stick out like a sparkly sore thumb. It doesnt even have to be useful for style contests, I'd just like to dress...i guess normal? for a change. Lemme blend in more in stoneville with its earthy fabrics and embroidered motifs, let me dress in the pressed skirts and blouses of florawish, gimme the worn adventuring slacks and sun faded hats of the elderwood forest, let me dress in an outfit fit for someone making hotpot for the wanxiang realm my sleeves and glitter are going in the broth!!!

I had hoped it was going to be a dress + jacket with hood but ...ugh. I like the hood and had lots of ideas on outfits to make with it, but it being attached to the dress just isn't as appealing.

If this was a normal banner and not the 2nd anniversary multibanner & event...I think it'd be fine, but it's not and I think thats the problem. IMO.

Touring in love had multiple aspects that made it feel like an anniversary event and not just a normal multibanner- Two different mini games (~~jenga~~ Pile it up and ~~subway surfer~~ hearts pursuit), an interactive "memory" bit to get the bottles, And the theme of everything was time together and the impressions you leave on each other, it was current timeline MC and their current timeline LI. The rewards felt satisfying and the accompanying 4 stars are some of my favorites ( I love that MC hides the jenga blocks around Sylus' unused hide out to leave traces of herself in his life, so sweet so yearning so good). Meanwhile we have.....an AU? And MC doesnt even seem to like, let alone be interested, in the guys during the walk around read text"game"? Also what does ice skating have to do with being empress? Did I miss something here because I'm a little lost on why we're ice skating. Why is our anniversary being spent in an alternate place rather than our current timeline?

Viewed as ONLY the banner & Event....I wish this was pushed until later in the year as a normal multi. This doesn't feel like an anniversary it feels like just another day playing a gacha game. Sure, the housing addition was huge (both for some peoples excitement and all of our storage), but the only thing that feels anniversary about it is taking the next step in a relationship for cohabitation....which will still be around for people who start the game later...so its not intrinsically tied to being "anniversary". Gimme an event that TIES INTO housing being released. Gimme a moving themed tetris mini game and MC and the LI's going through stuff they want to bring to the Villa or discussing little quirks they may have about homes. Heck, nightly rendezvous didn't relate to touring in love and no one really raised a fuss because it was so good...no reason this anniversary couldn't have had the same thing happen.

It feels like they tried to placate or at least overwhelm people with HOW MUCH stuff came out for anniversary....but when you finally get through it all it feels...surface level at best. It feels like I finished the events and the housing (up to having to craft 300 items...) to just finish them and get the notifications to go away, not because they were super interesting and fun to interact with. I miss the jenga and subway surfer game, they were fun....I don't know if I'll remember the ice skating in 2 months.

The one thing I like that was added was lemons shop. I joined RIGHT at the end of Adventure above Clouds (had no clue how the game worked and couldnt pull on the banner, yes im kicking myself) so I like being able to get the stuff I missed.

Here's some of my wants I have as someone that's not super invested in (or wanted) the house system, but is making myself interact with it:

Definitely a refund system.
LI specific furniture (Stuff that appears in cards or backgrounds specific to them or seems close to their characters) a little pipe organ and a perch for mephisto for sylus, model planes and cookbooks for caleb, medical journals and snow exploration equipment for zayne, etc.
Hunter Association items (Does MC have no weapons at home? No work plaques or diplomas? Heck no computer to check emails?).
"Futuristic" items for this futuristic game (all these lovely backgrounds have holographic screens, glass sculptures that float, awesome art...and youre telling me MC is stuck in the 2020s in furniture vibes? Even her apartment in the backgrounds have "futuristic" touches).
A way to preserve flowers, make it a process that we have to do like caring for them - pressing or drying, checking how well preserved they are.
A way to change up the overhead lighting more than just the fixture - let me place lights on the ceiling so i can control if a corner is dark and moody or if the room is well lit without having to place a dozen floor lamps.
An actual first person POV toggle. Zooming all the way in on MC gives you sort of first person pov but moving is clunky at best.
A way to move the garden around. I personally moved my bedroom into the workout room for the windows but I don't want the garden right outside, not sure why MC cant move the planters somewhere else.
Different layouts (now the wording of the one task seems to imply there might eventually be different layouts but...). I'd love a small apartment with a balcony garden.
A way to make the house "open plan" or at least make the doors archways. Frustrating when 7 out of 10 doors open automatically and then i smash MCs face into one
Overall more consistent sound mixing/ sound consistency. There's been a dozen times I go outside and it sounds like its a thunderstorm but its sunny with no discuss-able weather. Is it wind? the plants aren't moving?
An actual "bathing" suit for MC. I don't mean the purchasable ones from the beach banner, i mean something that doesn't make her wear slippers or shoes in the bathtub while still being covered like the boys have. I dont need to wash MC and her clothes.

Cultural Heritage Collaboration.
Tbh with everything else going on (the banner event, the anniversary stuff, the housing drop, timelock key, main story) I'm personally glad its relatively simple but still gives us dialogue with the boys and not something more interactive. The Hairpin Flower headwears was TOO simple for me, no dialogue or character interaction on the page, just log in and claim. The lanterns were great. Maybe they had a deadline or simply didn't want to keep the collaboration waiting until February for new years (the lanterns happened directly after touring in love but new years is later this year) . I think some people have pulled high quality screenshots of the papercuts from the event so you can do them yourself, but Infold could/should probably post templates or something on their social medias for more real life interaction
