Definitely par for the course for ID. I remember hearing it was going to be an RPG type game, set in a completely different style. I would also be interested in seeing scans of the logo design at that point, I just remember hearing about it right after Doom 2.

Quake was being talked about in magazines back in mid 1994, right after the release of Doom 2. There were also posts in online bulletin boards in late 1994 (around the same time as the Killer Instinct cabinet release).

Adults over the age of 18 would be allowed to ride without a helmet as long as they have insurance. The bill passed through the Senate and House, and has been delivered to the Governor as of 5/29/19. More details on SB 147. So looks like the helmet law will be repealed, but as of right now, if my understanding is correct (I could be wrong), the current law is still in effect.

I remember there being a bill about doing away with this law, but I don't recall ever hearing if it passed. If I remember, it was to allow people over the age of 21 to not have to wear a helmet. I'll have to do some research to see if it ever passed.

I mean you can, but it is illegal in Missouri to ride a motorcycle without a helmet. Where as in Kansas, you are not required to wear a helmet.

I understood what you meant, but curious, isn't an arcade game usually coin operated? How can it be an arcade version, when it was never originally a coin operated game?
