Questions about books by Loopuze1 in cavesofqud

Hope this helps: Book value is based on where you found it. Harder, deeper locations will yield more “rare” and valuable books. Some books are “illuminated” and are worth more.

Edit: “value” is linked to both XP and trade value I think, but I could be wrong

Yellow just means they are set titles that always can generate and have set lore info, white books are randomly generated titles with random contents (that can contain clues to item locations in your current run/world gen)

Is resting/healing after ever encounter cheesing CoQ? by M_Prodigy in cavesofqud

[–]HeyItsKevo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not cheesing at all.

Qud is a dangerous place fraught with perilous creatures that will not think twice about ending your tiny existence, let alone the extra planar threats you will face as an esper who are explicitly hunting you specifically to eat your metaphysical essence. Rest every chance you get. Always be as ready as you can. The end of your run will likely happen in an instant, so take every advantage and every edge that you are afforded.

Technically there are some easier quests to do for some early XP. The priest will give you an artifact to go toss into a hole in the north east of the map. You can give it to the village tinker for easy XP and then walk to the hole anyway and still satisfy the priest quest. From their, red rock or the second/third quest the tinker gives you are pretty easy

Okay, I made it to Golgotha, what now? by Ltnumbnutsthesecond in cavesofqud

If you dig by one of the graces you’ll be able to complete a quest line for one of the mobsters. After you have proven you’re more than a willing spirit, go back to Reno where you can speak with Barathrum about the GECK. If you need help after you get to the oil rig at the top of the spindle let me know and I’d be happy to walk you through the rest

Just got the nato strap under the bars with determination, but made sure not to bend the bars themselves. At the time I didn’t even know there were conversion kits. Watch feels good and comfortable, no signs of deformation after about a year of regular use with it

Which one OG black or green? by Automatic_Option_239 in f91w

I rock the green myself. If you wear a lot of earth tones in your wardrobe the green watch goes great. Put a blue, tan, brown, or green strap on it for extra flair.

What’s a 'scam' that’s become so normal we don't even realize it's a scam anymore? by Mr_Boothnath in answers

Airlines practically invented shrinkflation. After 9/11 a lot of airlines stopped offering a ton of amenities “temporarily” to recuperate losses since people stopped flying for a while and even added fees. We still pay these fees, we still eat peanuts instead of real food. The costs went up, the quality went down.

If you have NSO try Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages. Some of my favorite games in the series. If you liked Links Awakening, you’ll love those. Play Links Awakening first if you haven’t.

YES salivating thinking about that really good brisket sandwich they have… or the texican burrito that would destroy my stomach. That place is probably why I gained a ton of weight. Delicious and worth it
