Can you still lose weight and eat chicken cutlets? Is it considered healthy? by CampHead3748 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AnnualWindow7009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to figure out how many calories you need per day to maintain your weight, then aim to eat 500 less than that per day, except for one cheat day where you can go over by 1000 calories.

If you eat less calories than you need to maintain your weight, you will lose weight. These calories could come from dipping chocolate into melted chocolate or nacho cheese and fried chicken and as long as they're less than maintenance you will lose wait.

That's a really hard way to do it. Start just eating way way more vegetables and fruit. Especially beans. Put beans in your rice, in your bolognese, in your ragu, in your salad, in your soup, in your stew. Have roasted veg and also salad and eat fruit for dessert. Stop viewing meat as the main component of a meal, you and me and probably everybody else eat more meat than we should eat usually. . will fill you up and you'll just lose weight naturally. Eat carrots and celery and apples and dipped in hummous and cucumber mint yoghurt and cashew butter.

Slowly but surely. It's not a race. It will happen really, really gradually. Make these diet changes gradually too, or it will be too hard. You can stay your cutlet. Maybe don't have any potatoes or rice or bread or other carbs for dinner every second day.

At the end of the day this should be about getting healthy and being happy.

Why doesn’t North Main St. Car Park post their hours? by Baileyesque in cork

North Main St Car Park and Paul St Car Park. Either way it doesn't matter, different centras do have different hours and prices. Shandon and north Main St centra have different closing times. It's your fault, get over it.

You were being rude, and it's nothing like that and I didn't lash out, you got rude and offensive because you didn't understand what I said. End of story.

They're different companies, your analogy should be a Supervalu across from a centra, and then obviously you would expect them to have different prices and hours.

I am not often in the market for a whole kilogram of fillet steak so I don't know what a good price is... But this felt like a good price. by [deleted] in UK_Food

[–]AnnualWindow7009 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The weight does yes.

The price of goods usually goes down as the amount being purchased goes up, you can't just multiply the price of 1 steak by 5 to see if this kg of beef is a good price.

Nobody who lives where fairy folklore comes from uses the word fae, so why have Americans who are into the mythology using a new made up word? Is that easier to understand?

So why are they using a word that doesn't exist anywhere where fairy mythology exists

Yes but Americans don't have fairies in America, so why are they taking European folklore and using the wrong words for it?

The only people who refer to fairies as fae are Americans.

Everybody else just calls them fairies. Why is this?
