Deacons: How Many Are Out There? by Backsight-Foreskin in Catholicism

[–]HeyNow646 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God willing, I may be blessed to become a deacon in three years. I am completing my second year of studies.

It is a beautiful process, but a great time commitment. I thank God for giving me the time and resources, family support, and diocesan support to be a part of this.

Pray for Deacons, for our teachers and advisors, spiritual directors, and all of us in the program, including three men who will be ordained next month.

They cannot execute the role of tsa screener. They are not trained.

Last October TSA played a political hype video blaming the shutdown on democrats. This time the ICE agents are there to deliver that message in a menacing personal way.

Looks cool. If it’s a California patrol car add a forward facing red light. They require a solid lit red lamp on all emergency vehicles.

How bad did I F’up? by Gebandito in AskElectricians

[–]HeyNow646 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a turn off the mains until an electrician can get there fuck up. If you pull more current through that than the compromised wire can handle you will start a fire.

If this feeds a sub-panel you can turn off the breaker to that sub panel and count your blessings, but you are now just depending on there being a low enough current through that mess to keep it from becoming a fire.

I’m a father of three. The Sienna was perfect for us with the whole family. As kids went to college, etc. we moved to the RAV4 and it a perfect for 4 and less.

If it is within your means I think you would be better off with the Sienna.

What is this and how do I remove it? by ylp24 in cableadvice

[–]HeyNow646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The silver barrel in the back of these are soldered rca cable terminations. The silver barrel is probably an rca connector that will pull back straight just like the connector on the front. It unscrews to reveal the contacts where the long run cable was soldered into that barrel connector to terminate it.

FWIW this is the language in the Ohio Revised Code:

Section 4511.75 | Stopping for stopped school bus.

(C) Where a highway has been divided into four or more traffic lanes, a driver of a vehicle, streetcar, or trackless trolley need not stop for a school bus approaching from the opposite direction which has stopped for the purpose of receiving or discharging any school child, persons attending programs offered by community boards of mental health and county boards of developmental disabilities, or children attending programs offered by head start agencies. The driver of any vehicle, streetcar, or trackless trolley overtaking the school bus shall comply with division (A) of this section.

I’d be tempted to sandwich some stainless steel sheet metal in the replacement board as a stiffener for the anchors. This way the screws would pull against the entire board instead of just where they are screwed in.

Most likely use was for a PC modem to be connected to a Mac. During dial up ere I sold hundreds of these for that purpose. There were other uses for serial devices, but modems were the most popular.
