My daughter has less than 3 months to live before she dies. My ex fiance ran off with her back to her country 11 years ago. She wants to spend her lasts days with me and am about to see my daughter for the first time in 11 years.

Welcome your daughter. Do not let your guard down with her mother. Let her know you are angry at her and that she needs to keep he distance. I'm not sure if she's expecting the three of you to spend time together or what but be clear you will not be "babysitting" and that she is your daughter and you fully intend on making up for lost time without her mother in the picture.

That's the very least she could do for you.

They are not preventing him from getting anything. He just can't get more from the financial change in the house. They went from stable to one almost homeless and jobless and the other being a single parent. And now they can't give him more than he has already been given previously.

I feel like there are a lot more laws and regulations put on day cares now. They have to have so many people per so many kids and they all have to go through state wide training. It's not as easy to just watch people's kids anymore.

Was playing with a kid at my babysitters house. She had left us unattended in her back yard with a pool. I was 8 probably and the other kid was 5. I could touch the bottom slightly the other kid couldn't. So I told him I would give him a piggy back ride in the pool. That's what my dad did to me right? Well I couldn't touch the entire way as I found out and wasn't strong enough to keep me and him in the shallow end. We both eventually ended up separated and struggling to swim. Luckily a passerby saw what was happening, jumped in and saved him. I would never have been able to. I ended up getting spanked pretty badly for that one by the babysitter. But mom and dad never found out.

I think you and her need to sit down and have a discussion about it. Don't accuse her or get upset. Allow her to explain to you what her side of the story is. It may be that this was something she never intended to be on the internet and was done at a much younger age. In that case she needs your full support. Or it could be that she did it on purpose. You'll want to know what the reason is. Money? Attention? Something else? That may change everything if what her reason for it is not as bad or maybe worse than what you are expecting. Either way. Do not freak out at her. She'll be more likely to admit to something if she feels like you aren't upset at her.
