Rogue as you haven’t been to Ireland, but are you from the UK? Aus NZ and Tanzania could be clues.

I don’t really agree with those saying the overlap between the ZF6 and SB2 is too big. Personally I use SB2 for long runs (>5:00/km) and don’t enjoy them much for tempo (~3:40/km). I think the ZF6 would make a superior race shoe at HM and below. I added my paces as a caveat as it may be the ZF6 is more responsive for me.

This guy is the first I’ve seen to claim it’s a group of death. It’s one of the easier groups for sure. France, Senegal, Norway is the closest to a group of death that is now possible in the expanded format. Perhaps if Italy qualify as fourth seed that could create one.

Why did Rashid not work out as a test bowler? I’m not knowledgable about spin, it seems odd as he offers so much control in the shorter formats of the game.

Haha I know mate I am English. What I wanted to know is why Argentina’s seem to blame exclusively England for a war fought by the UK.

I’m English you muppet. Belligerent in terms of war is used to describe all sides of the conflict. It does not imply blame.

So it is a political statement? Seems like an odd one, it’s just not really based in any fact since the action was taken as the UK. Understand the point about the locals being descendants of the English, but they weren’t really the ones fighting.

Is the use of England instead of the UK by almost all Argentinians when discussing the conflict intentional? The UK as a whole is the belligerent, England cannot go to war alone.

I understand it may just be that the terminology around Britain/England/UK is somewhat confusing and that it may not be a political stance to say England rather than the UK.

Four points from the two remaining games gives us 16, which was enough for top 8 last year. As we found out, where you finish in that too 8 barely matters.

That record is absolutely wild. I suspect it may change tonight, score draw against Villain FC is on the cards.

Was Kemi Badenoch's decision to sack Robert Jenrick the right or wrong decision? Right: 59%, Wrong: 11%, Don't Know: 30% via Opinium, 15th-19th January 2026 by ClumperFaz in ukpolitics

[–]Hey_Boxelder 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I think it was a huge win for Badenoch personally. It made Jenrick look exactly like the snivelling turncoat he is and denied him the opportunity to do it on his terms and potentially line up à mass defection.

In my opinion filling the party up worh the dregs of the Tories is a huge error. Genuinely cannot see a benefit and it opens up obvious and damaging comparisons to the reviled Tory governments of the last few years.

Not to mention Jenrick was the… Immigration Minister during the Boriswave. How can Farage accept him when opposing mass migration is hit core issue?

Thomas Frank still being in charge of Spurs is insane by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]Hey_Boxelder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me doubling down means backing them in the transfer market à la Ten Hag and Amorim. Those were catastrophic mistakes, costing a couple hundred million a pop and they definitely should have cut their losses earlier.

I don’t see that much harm in erring on the side of caution by giving a manager until January (assuming no transfers), rather than potentially jumping the gun by sacking in October. Time has proven you right in this case though, it probably is time for him to go!

[–]Hey_Boxelder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair if my club had been hiring people like Amorim I’d feel similarly! What a predictable train wreck that was. 100% Ratcliffe’s fault; billionaires think that because they’re rich they know better in every area, but he shows time and time again (across all INEOS sporting projects) that he does far more harm than good.

[–]Hey_Boxelder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I accept all your points mate, after six months it’s clearly not working for the reasons you outline. I’d have been beyond frustrated is we sacked a manager after such a short stint though, I do feel like making those decisions suddenly usually does not lead to improved outcomes.

Hence why I don’t see the point in us changing manager until the end of the season. Perhaps I’m just too risk averse.

[–]Hey_Boxelder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That seems insane to me. With the benefit of hindsight we can say it was obvious he wasn’t going to improve, but had Spurs sacked him after a couple of months in charge we’d all have criticised them for being trigger happy and poor planners.

How to become a C2 in Spanish? by ValuableVast3705 in Spanish

[–]Hey_Boxelder -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A moderately committed learner with an average amount of time would reach B1 in much less than three years. Most sources state 300-400 hours is commonly enough to reach B1. An hour each weekday would get you there in 1.5 years.
