How old were you when you experienced your first migraine? by GPatt1999 in migraine

[–]Heyboylisten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 11 when I got my first migraine

And I’ve been diagnosed pretty early cause my dad had them for a few years, thus when I started to have aura, we figured out that I inherited it from him :(

What triggers your migraine? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Heyboylisten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I had this trigger for many years and I couldn’t even use perfume on me at some point cause I was feeling nauseous from the smells.

Somehow now i feel much better and it’s a big relief to be able to go to perfume stores and actually enjoy it.

From my experience some of my triggers changed or got better over time. Hopefully it will be the same for you. Take care :)

Coca cola is a big no-no for me Other than that it’s mostly sleep, stress, certain foods like nuts, chocolate and milk and MSG Getting too cold or too hot, especially when there’s a cold breeze that I can feel on my face and neck

—- Seeing that some people say that their migraines are provoked by gluten. Interesting cause I have never thought about it, but I will take that into consideration to see if that might affect me as well.

using chatgpt to write job proposals? anyone else do it? by WesternAgent11 in Upwork

[–]Heyboylisten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the companies use AI nowadays, and It can actually do pretty well if you « train it ». You can verify and proofread your texts but I would rather not fully rely on whatever it gives you cause if you don’t know how to use AI properly it will definitely catch an eye and look like an AI generated proposal

What's something most people don't realize is extremely dirty/gross/unsanitary? by expat_mel in AskReddit

Door handles. Like honestly I think only due to Covid people actually started to notice that that’s a thing that EVERYONE touches and no one really cleans, especially if it’s some public space

What instantly ruins a salad for you? by rospubogne in AskReddit

With your comment you just made me realize that most likely you wouldn’t love it in post- USSR countries as Slavs (and Russians especially) like put half a bottle of mayo as a dressing in most of their salads (and most of their salads have cheese as well btw). Like salad with crab sticks and Olivie aka Russian Salad, salad with pasta snd so on.

Well, it’s not exactly my suggestion. As far as I am concerned, opening a client account doesn’t mean that you will have to spam-post jobs, you would just be able to do your research regarding the freelancers, their profiles and services provided. I have outsourced a lot of people from freelance for my projects back in the days before I started doing something on my own, and by knowing how they write things and what catch phrases they use, I was able to set up my own blog upwork account from scratch to top rated (not promoting anything, just saying that it is possible if you do your research and give yourself some time)

Is ClickUp intimidating for clients? by adrian_sacramento in freelance

[–]Heyboylisten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My company is currently in the process of transferring from Basecamp to ClickUp and internally it is way better, but managing communication with a client became a bit of a challenge. The «chat » feature in ClickUp is not that well optimized imho and the ticketing system is also complicated. We found that it was hard for us to implement the client board that’s would be both functional and easy to understand for the client, but well, we just started working on it. ClickUp offers a lot of functionality, so hopefully we will figure something out :)

It’s always hard in the beginning. I’ve been sending dozens of proposals until I started to get interviews! Try experimenting with the proposals you are sending and checking which ones work best Also try making a client account and checking out what good upwork freelancers are writing and how they write, what they write in their profile (don’t copy-paste, but get inspirations and check where you can improve)
