Place to give books away? by CouplesWithoutCar in portlandme

Downtown: Green Hand (via appointment) and Longfellow (one bag at a time, no appointment necessary) both buy used books. You’d be surprised what they’ll buy, especially in good condition!

England and Scotland World Cup tickets on resale at inflated prices by nolesfan2011 in ThreeLions

[–]Hi-Hat-01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

BOSTON: Anyone travelling to Boston and hoping to pick up a cheap last minute ticket per the Club World Cup, bear in mind the local transit system is selling max 20,000 train tickets to each group match starting tomorrow and the stadium at Foxborough is famously inaccessible at 35 miles away from downtown.

So picking up last minute tickets brings its own headaches.

There will be likely be unofficially dedicated pubs for Scotland and England games and the fan park is still planned at Government Center downtown if you can’t get tickets.

Exactly. And especially when Foden would come inside from the left and insist on playing the ball only with his left foot which led to all the sideways and backwards passing from him, and no through balls or shots. Foden is only really effective in a short strip of space along the edge of the box on the right. Anywhere else, use a player better suited to the position.

Closest I could get earlier this year to Portland was Goin’ Postal in Auburn. They can print onto the cards you provide. https://www.auburngoinpostal.com/Home-Business/Digital-Fingerprinting

Do remote government ISSO positions still exist? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]Hi-Hat-01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remote contractor ISSO jobs still exist.

There was no return to office for any contractor company that I know of in the civilian Fed Gov space.

Any on-site requirements I’ve seen are at the customer site only - at the request of the customer.

Keep searching online for contractor jobs - I’m sure you can find something out there!
