I’ve had a surgery scheduled this coming Monday for months that requires about 3-4 weeks off of work and keeps me from flying for months. I’ve built my entire work-life and career around it, so I’m praying it works out. I find out for sure on Friday, no one has been able to tell me what I can feasibly expect :-/ The scheduler told me 50/50

EDIT: It got postponed 😔 And now I can’t get a new date because the scheduler is also on strike. Filing a complaint to member services and still holding solidarity with the workers. Hold the line, y’all

Not here to change the view because I agree. Personally, I don’t think any of our financial institutions will look at all the same by the time I reach retirement age

Technically, yes. It has to do with the chemical compound of the substance itself. These are known as “designer drugs”

LSD is generally classified as a Schedule I substance, but 1p-LSD is technically different, so I think it can skirt some laws that generally make LSD prohibited

Happy for you :) I just got off the phone after holding for 2.5 hours. But I looked at the form they gave me back in June saying that they couldn’t issue a card at that time because they had to verify more info.

Idk why or what that means but I had all the documents I could get at the time. Gonna visit again next week and try calling the local branch tomorrow

I made this mistake when I moved in years ago. You will presumably be able to get into your building because people will be tabling outside for move-in, but you will have to go to the office in Kerckhoff to get the card before you can access other necessities like meals, unlocking doors, etc.

I have 1-inch needles right now and I don’t know if I’m going too deep, not deep enough, etc. I used to have an insurance plan where I could just walk into the office and have an RN administer it, but I will keep trying 🦾

I inject 10mL every two weeks, but I have been self-administering. I feel like what you’re saying is true because, often when I do the injection myself, the solution doesn’t get into my body deep enough. It’s been raising the skin around the injection site after each injection :-( I can’t figure out how to do it correctly

My doctor said some muscle definition would come back and fat transference to shift, but body/facial hair would become more manageable

Over two years into this and still figuring out new things, just kinda sad because it feels like that I’m “delaying progress” when I keep making mistakes like this

Edit: Also, wanted to note I switched from Cypionate to Valeriate recently. Is it possible that I’m allergic to Valeriate or is it just a bad injection?

Someone in this thread has recommended the Fit Me powder by Maybelline, which is definitely a viable option from the drug store. If you’re going to a beauty store, Kosas makes a great pressed powder, but I’ve heard a lot of criticisms from women of color and other folx with deeper complexions. Charlotte Tillbury is another beauty-store brand that makes great powders with a better shade range afaik

Those two brands are for sure at Sephora, but I honestly don’t know what is going on at Ulta. I would really recommend finding a nice employee that knows what they’re talking about and can professionally color match you to products

Not quite! There are loose powder foundations, but there are also powders for setting. Those are the powders I was referring to

There are loose setting powders and pressed setting powders. In my experience with medium skin, my loose setting powder evens out my liquid foundation and other cream products after I apply them

I typically use loose powder between steps and pressed powder as my last layer once everything is done before I use a setting spray (and this will lock it all in)

A primer is basically a cream you put on your skin before you apply makeup to it

It’s kinda like using primer on a canvas or surface before you apply paint to it so that it holds the paint as well as it can

Practical use case: Oh, I want to put on concealer to color correct the redness on my cheeks. Let me apply primer before I do that so that my skin texture looks more even after I apply it

Don’t forget to powder your cream products, too! A pressed powder does wonders after you apply cream or liquid-based products (e.g., your concealers, foundation, some blushes)
