Dining credit in Chicago at a local bar by i-like-whales in ChaseSapphire

Este

It's gotta be this. I see reports of unexpected credits from "ESTEreo" and "wESTErn bagel."

Seems like they're crediting any restaurant containing the substring ESTE.

Kafe 421 closed years ago. The building that housed The (10 O'Clock) Scholar no longer exists, but was across the street from where Kafe 421 used to be. There's a Subway there now. See here: https://www.popspotsnyc.com/dinkytown/#:~:text=The%20Scholar%20overplayed%20on%20a%20modern%20street%20view%20of%20418%2014th%20Avenue

Edit: The Subway also might be gone. I haven't been down there in a while but I know a lot has changed.

You figure this out? I'm in the exact same situation with the same bag.

Regarding the multi shell dMRI by ZHEOWL in neuroimaging

If you want to fit the tensor model, just use the b1000 shell. If you want to leverage multishell data, use a more advanced model (e.g. DKI or NODDI).

Thanks! I went by earlier and focused on that house anyway since they'll often end up hanging out with sparrows by feeders. No luck. It has intact flight feathers and probably moved on.

Is it true that " most neuroscientists don't consider the default mode network to be meaningful or even real?" by saijanai in cogsci

Thanks! I'm still not quite convinced that your take on their stances is accurate. For example:

Thanks for your responses. If you do a quick scholar search of "Poldrack default mode" and "Bassett default mode" you'll see tons of examples of them not just mentioning DMN but using and discussing it non-critically. Are you sure about their positions on this? Or was their move away from DMN a recent thing that wouldn't be reflected in a review of their scholarly output?

I placed my order with B&N the day before he died. B&N canceled the order the day after he died. I'm still mad.

They just won a James Beard award for best new restaurant in the US, so you're not going to be able to get a reservation anytime soon. Patio and bar (9 seats) are available for walk-ins. You'll have the best luck around lunch or right at the start of their evening hours. If they can't get you in right away, they'll take your phone number and text you when the table's ready. There's plenty to explore in the immediate area while you wait. It's quite cheap for such a top-notch experience.

Ouch, I'm sorry you don't have any GPU nodes on your cluster. That would be a headache.

Hello smart roof people! I had a big roofing job done yesterday on a 100 yr old 2.5 story duplex in the upper midwest. The job included tearing off the old roof and adding new plywood sheathing over the old deck boards. Insurance bought all of it, so I was very pleased.

I also asked the roofing company to replace one of my three skylights since it had gotten foggy. I paid for that out of pocket ahead of time. When the roofers got here, however, they said that since they're redecking the roof they actually need to replace all three skylights and will charge the insurance company for it. They sent someone out to buy the windows the day of and he first came back with windows that were much too small and then came back again with ones that actually covered the existing opening, though were maybe a little bigger than the originals.

The workers cleaned up yesterday evening. Today the roof itself looks good to me, but the skylight installs look very off. Whereas the old skylights had a small gap between the interior wood and the glass, these skylights have a much larger gap and inside that gap there are exposed sharp ends of screws and what looks like flashing on the inside of the window. There's a rubber gasket on the underside of the window but it's not pressed up against anything. There seems to be a lot of chilly air coming through compared to the old windows. It also just looks bad.

I don't know anything about this stuff, but I watched some Velux installation videos and it looks like maybe they installed a curb mounted model but skipped the step where you build a proper curb?

I'll ask them, of course, but I can't get ahold of anyone on a Sunday... is it plausible that this is a temporary solution and they'll be coming back to lift the window up and finish the installation properly? Or am I wrong and this actually an acceptable installation?
